Who knows what happened to Natalie. I noticed one fan said she spent 20 x $.55 to vote. That would really keep the total number of votes down I would think. Perhaps she just didn't connect with the viewing audience. I know for me, I connected to her the least of the three. I'm sure Adam was really disappointed, but it's onward this week. We've already seen Isaiah getting hair steaks and a makeover and I'm sure Adam will focus on picking the best songs to showcase both, along with the styling, etc...and he has to prepare for his number....whatever it will be. He's gonna be really busy this week. He's still in it to win it.

I don't know what happened with Natalie but I enjoyed her performance. Dance songs are tricky tho. They don't generally connect with people emotionally. I think putting Amalia on the piano with her song helped her connect more. I would love to see Isaiah or Amalia sing Titanium the way Adam and Angie sang it on Idol. I think Natalie would have slayed it as well. Adam is really a great judge. Idol missed out on a good thing.
I agree. Introducing a new song in Australia would not be a good move for right now. I still think Adam could have benefited from singing something from his album on Idol tho I really enjoyed WTTS. I see where Kelly Clarkson is submitting her Idol version of Piece by Piece for Grammy consideration. That song was dead before she performed it on Idol.

I have been feeling a bit down since Natalie was sent off X Factor.. Mostly feeling down for Adam.. I have a feeling that the Aussies like very natural organic performances..Is it just me or anybody else feeling a bit off.. I think my addiction to Adam has become more pronounced too. Since I've seen more of him on TV ,I want to see him everyday.. Oh Geeze.... going to movie with DH to try to live in the moment..LOL I am not feeling off as I have enjoyed all the Adam action lately, but Natalie's departure was a shock for me and it made me sad for Adam. I think he had a lot of plans what to do with her and her voice and he really believed in her. No idea what Australia's musical taste buds are like...and what exactly happened. I assume that too many people thought she was "safe". Nah!!! I would bet money that Natalie was in the Top 5-6 votegetters, overall. The problem was that one from each team had to go. Adam's team sang circles around everyone. |

Adam's team sang circles around ever😧 I think so too. It was still a shocker though. It sounds like Isaiah has some sort "story" and Amalia (sp) is young and sang a heart wretching song. Personally, I think that wasn't her best performance although I love the song. Natalie was the much stronger singer in that group but the nation seems to have gone for gut-wretching. I like Isaiah but I'm still trying to figure him out. Hey, I'd lose just to get that tight, consoling hug from Adam! |
