I actually think the choices Adam choose are great. Even Happy. It is a fun song, harmless to see his fun side. And Frozen was a perfect choice for Amaila. She is an artist, why dumb her down. In any case I can do that song picky thing lol. I choose Florence and the machine for Amalia, and Bob Marley for Isiah. The judges chose the songs???!!! I thought the production chose them, the viewers pick and the judges just have to go with whatever is handed to them Someone fill me in...

I am new to this forum but have been lurking for a while. Like many of you, I became a huge Adam fan since American Idol. However, I developed a life-threatening illness which caused me to fall off the radar for a number of years. I was so happy to discover this forum and how supportive, open minded, and educational, not to mention sharing the "I so would" parts of the Adam experience! I have been a Queen fan since I was a little girl and am so glad for their collaboration. I noticed that when Dr. Bri took his break, he left some people to follow in his absence, and he didn't' even have Adam's name on that list, whereas he had always been his biggest supporter and somebody on this forum pointed out -if I remember right-that this is the first time QAL didn't have at least something at least flexibly pencilled in. Of course, I realize that Dr. Bri is sick, and we all hope he gets better, but not having Adam to follow, plus the vague statement that they might do something different with Adam this year, which I am afraid means they might not be singing together. I am also confused about what it means when Queen put out that all upcoming venues have been tightened (what does this statement mean?). Anyway, I know this is probably a mish-mash, but any help or bit of information would help my sad confusion about what I asked about QAL. Thank you so much. Welcome! First, I am confident that when Brian recovers, Queen will tour again with Adam. Of course, the "something different" includes Adam. They won't tour w/o him. I think they have made that very clear many many times. The first thing I thought of was that they might do short residencies instead of tours that involve extensive travel. I don't mean Vegas. Doing several shows at one place seems to be becoming popular. That is just my guess. I have no doubt something QAL is happening in 2017. As far as this "he left some people to follow in his absence" I have no idea what you are referring to. I hope you are feeling better!

Sounds like you are a fighter so glad you made it through your troubles and could join us here at home. Unless Bri put in the Taylors and Spike Edny etc in his tweet I wouldn't worry about him leaving Adam out, it just means he's part of Queen and doesn't need any pimping. I didn't check on the people he did post, were they more related to badgers than singing? I also think that Dr. Bri might be stressed by the US election as he was by the UK one also. More QAL will come when it's meant to is the only solace I can give you. Save

Thanks for all of your welcomes to the community as well as to those who gave such speedy and helpful answers and ideas to consider about some of the questions that I had. And I can definitely see how the application of short residencies makes sense on a number of levels. I think that one of the biggest things that I could think about possibly being able to do one day if I got well enough was to see QAL in concert. So when I thought ithey might not perform together, I actually got really anxious! I was so fortunate this past spring to see Adam in concert, so I could only imagine the added magic of seeing them all together. A couple of people asked for clarification about what I meant when I was concerned/confused about why Adam was not mentioned under suggestions to follow. I am sure that was not clear. I went to Dr. Bri's Twitter account, and right below the October 22 post where he notes that he will need to sign out for now, there is a section called "Who to Follow". That is the section where I didn't see Adam listed, and that was (to me) one of the things that raised concern. I hope that this helps to clarify where I was.. Now that my health is improving even more, my goddaughter promises a crash course so I can get a little bit more up to speed on what seems dizzying in terms of social media, delivery platforms, etc.... In fact, I'm pretty sure she would be embarrassed to know I had even gotten on here to post before even the first lesson, so I think I will not tell her! Again, thanks for your welcomes and help. I am with you all in wishing Brian a speedy and full recovery!

Isn't it interesting that there are no pics of Adam outside of X-Factor? Or did I miss something? If there are no or hardly any paparazzi, good for Adam

Thanks for explaining where you got the info and got concerned...the thing to remember is that the "who To Follow" section is individualized by Twitter according to your interests and is not compiled by the page owner. Since you already follow Adam (I assume) you would not see him on the list... so, as long as Dr. Bri gets out of his depression spell (I assume that's what it is) we are all good for 2017! I am sure it will be amazing!
