Babs Well, I'm off to an annual family reunion. I missed it last year due to the Louisville concert. I'm kinda dreadin it......I can just hear it now......."Oh, you poor little thing.....we drove by and saw all the tornado destruction.....how are you coping?....bless your heart, you've been in our prayers, etc".......and then, one by one, they notice an inked # 8 on my wrist, and then it's "What in the world is that??? Are you having a nervous breakdown??? I can't believe you got a tattoo !!! What do you think your late mother would think??? LOL.....then back to the " you poor thing....I will continue to pray for you"...... It's gonna be a looong day ! Oh my, good luck with that and you are my tattoo inspiration, seriously thinking of getting one done for my birthday in December Well, I survived my family reunion. Not one single soul mentioned my tattoo, although I saw lots of people eyeing it. Marysue I don't think any in this bunch recognized my tattoo as an Adam connection - these folks only knew Adam from Idol. Most wanted me to re-tell the whole tornado experience and many wanted to know how the whole insurance business works. A couple of people asked me about Adam ....when was I hitting the road again for concerts, etc. One 60 yr old male cousin asked me "Why Adam?" "What is it about him that has turned you into such a devoted fan?" Of course, I babbled on and on.... as there's no shortage of accolades when describing AFL. Maria Yay for you on getting a tattoo !!! As Adam would say, "Do what makes you happy" I'm very happy with mine and don't regret it at all. Gelly I just noticed that you posted that oh so ugly, almost wild looking, pic of me from the Louisville buses There were several better looking ones than that one.....and I know you have them all (hehe).....Yikes !!! I look demon possessed !! LOL. Those security dudes were furnished by the Brown Theatre....They were intimidating and very protective ...and they did a good job of keeping me at bay. (so I couldn't pounce huh myS*&@^#r). Savvy I love the beserk you !! Can't imagine you any other way.

Regarding the Genie -- the programming is simple, but the work to build that database is quite amazing. Someone collected the images and facts about every celebrity and character in the database, coded each with the answers to a lot of questions. The program starts with a few basic questions that eliminate a lot of options, then keeps splitting the remaining possible people into two groups based on any unanswered question. Male/Female -- is the first split into possible and impossible answers. And so on. Impressive work. ETA: Oooooops on the typo -- but it is so funny I will leave it. And must have been a subliminal typo because I was thinking of Adam and it asked me if my character was gay -- I was worried that I would get Clay. From a couple of hours ago. I hope the subject isn't totally dead. Exactly what Q3 said. Not so impressive that they get the answers right but impressive that they've built such a large database. I played 5 times and "he" only guessed right once! My picks weren't really obscure (to me anyway). But they add all the new ones to their database so it keeps growing. ETA: I think I'll try one he got wrong & see if he gets it now that it was added to database. I think this is the FIRST NON-ADAM POST I EVER POSTED HERE!!! What does that tell ya??

I was supposed to be away for 2 days and was panicked concerned about what I might miss. Not much, right? But I wasn't away anyway as trip was cancelled due to everything under the sun going wrong! 1.- Son's car needed last minute repairs so got very late start 2.- Torrential downpours & flooding. Stuck in traffic gridlock. 3.- Couldn't even access I-78 so tried to take a (much longer) alternate route 4.- Continued heavy rain and flooding and the finally straw: 5.- Car problem returned & had to turn back. Friday was a total nightmare and Saturday I was feeling sorry for myself. Lost Weekend! _______________________________________________________ But on a lighter, less whiny note: Happy Birthday to usagi, maria and phlambert!!! and to the delurkers!!!
