Cute tweets, I hope it's a true story: @glitteronmyeyes Sydney Bristow : Had a very berty grocery shopping trip. Saw a dude in a Lambert jersey, a "code adam" was called over intercom, lady wearing t-shirt... 7 minutes ago ...with exact replica of Adam's "A" from tour on it & a girl got all excited finding an idol cd w Adam Lambert on it. All in one store lol! 5 minutes ago LOL A "code Adam" is a code for a missing child. We have the same exact code where I work. I am gonna assume it's named Adam for Adam Walsh who was abducted way back when. Lambert jersey tho....hmmm....I don't follow sports so is there a prof sports dude with the last name Lambert?? |

Babs  Well, I'm off to an annual family reunion. I missed it last year due to the Louisville concert. I'm kinda dreadin it......I can just hear it now......."Oh, you poor little thing.....we drove by and saw all the tornado destruction.....how are you coping?....bless your heart, you've been in our prayers, etc".......and then, one by one, they notice an inked # 8 on my wrist, and then it's "What in the world is that??? Are you having a nervous breakdown??? I can't believe you got a tattoo !!! What do you think your late mother would think??? LOL.....then back to the " you poor thing....I will continue to pray for you"...... It's gonna be a looong day ! This made me laugh, Bama, because every time I visit my son in Birmingham over a holiday and we go to his in-law's, I am exhausted from the effort to be on my best behavior. Now, I don't drink, smoke, swear (casually,) or tell dirty jokes, but it's hard for me not to find humor in situations that are absurd or keep my mouth shut when some particularly conservative conversation starts. Don't even get me started when the subject is music, even before Adam, and I'm expected to chime in on which Christian group or sedate country singer, is my favorite. Don't get me wrong, they are wonderful people, but just so perfect. I used to be perfect then got divorced, moved to Myrtle Beach, and went berserk. That was 20 yrs ago, so I can barely remember much about my former stellar self. Ha, ha. I think they feel I'm even past the "bless her heart" stage. |

NoAngel -- I diagnose myself as in the rare stage of Acceptance. I fucking miss the man, but there ain't nuthin' to do about it but wait and check Atop daily. There will be news eventually as time does march on and the album will be released. VH-1 is in one month. only 30 days away. And the Canada show gets closer every day.

My grandmother doesn't know yet that I have a tattoo and I'm just waiting for her to find out. Then it will be just like that, except instead of tornados and such she'll say, "did you hear [your cousin no 1] did this?", "have you heard [your cousin nr 2] did that?", "oh, did you know that [cousin 1's first child] went to ...?", "WHAT on earth is that on your shoulder???", "of course you've heard that [cousin 2:s chird child] is going to ..." And we don't even have family reunions - I just visit her from time to time and it's always a loooooong day! :  |

Nice to see you posting! For the most part, I'm in the acceptance stage too simply b/c there's nothing I can do but wait until Adam resurfaces, but occasionally I visit the other stages for a brief moment. And I feel like, at last, we can see a little of the light at the end of the tunnel and that, along with having Atop to check for new news, to vent, etc., helps tremendously! I'd be going nuts if it weren't for everyone here. |
