Aw, Jablea, I can feel your pain. I have many thoughts, but I am Canadian. I'll just say that I really hate to see bad behaviour rewarded!

I have never met a group of civilized, kind-hearted, intelligent fans than the glamberts...tells something about the man (Adam) himself!!! Huggs to all P.S.: Be careful...my huggs are tight!!!

I think I need to join a support group. What a blow on everything I believe in and stand for :( I know what you mean. And I see people saying we need to support him now that he's been elected. Hell no! I can't think of a single statement of his that I can support. If by some chance a proposal comes out that is reasonable, I would support that, but as of now I don't see anything good coming out of this nightmare. And my DH wonders why I need something like Adam in my life...

And my DH wonders why I need something like Adam in my life... I can't even think rationally today as I am grieving deeply. Can't imagine supporting any of his agendas, except standing up for individual causes I believe in. That list is endless and will likely not be addressed within the next four years.

Of interest, HeWhoCannot amed has 4000 law suits against him. 75 are fairly big. The ones that concern me are the rape charge of a 13 year old, the child trafficking thru his model agency, HeWhoCannot amed university and misuse of funds from his foundation and the sexual harassment suits.
Of even bigger concern, is the fact he has many businesses and says he will hand over the operation to his children. This is a major red flag to me as he has global dealings and many with Russian oligarchs and North Korean suppliers, that even if his children operated his companies, he would have input into day to day operations. So they all need to be put into a blind trust where no one of the family has access to them that policy decisions could make him a richer man, or put the United States in contentious positions with other countries.
I hope someone is watching over this to protect us.

I have never cried over a presidential election before---but I am heartbroken tonight. I haven't always been in agreement with election results before, but I accepted the will of the people and carried on. THIS ONE---is the first that has made me feel ASHAMED--that citizens in my country could cause me to feel sad for the nation of my birth. Like momtomany said, the idea of hearing the band play HAIL to the CHIEF to that man brings me to absolute revulsion. The votes are not all in yet, so I'm holding on to a whisper of hope...... i'm a day late, but i just wanted to take a moment to cry with you. i've been miserable all day and i assume i'll remain that way for the next four years. it is unbelievable that there are so many hateful people in the u.s. who want HeWhoCannot amed to be president. how is that possible? at least i can come here to my happy place and know that many of the members are more sane than the rest of america. :(

I don't know if it is possible to overstate the catastrophe brewing.... to the US, to the world, to the economy, to equal rights, to our country's reputation and position in the world, and to the safety of people not only here in the US, but around the world. This is terrifying! as usual, i'm a day late and totally terrified, too. what are we going to do? i had no idea i lived in a country so full of anger and hate; i also can't believe that some of my friends voted for him. thank heavens we have this wonderful site to come to for a moment's peace and happiness. it's definitely my happy place. but i wonder why we adam lovers are also so open minded and loving; or is it just that the rest of our country is close minded and hateful?

This election is devastating. What can people be thinking? I'm stunned and disappointed in humanity right now. Me too. I hardly want to go outside for fear that those hate-mongerers (sp?) are going to see me and attack. who would have thought that america could come to this?
