IDK, I think they saw the performances and Amalia's performance would be good to open the shows and Isaiah's to close the night. Performance order absolutely makes a difference. At least on idol it did. #1 was always called the "death slot." Last was always the "Pimp" spot. With one caveat - when you are Adam Freaking Lambert and you sing Whole Lotta Love better than the original, and Simon Cowell says "the only problem is, nobody can top that", you might be safe even if you went on first  |

I think Amalia was 4th because peeps couldn't split their vote between her and Isaiah. They had to choose one or both could have lost. Save |

From MJ's Big Blog, about Isaiah's album: His self-titled album, which will consist of studio versions of songs that he performed on the show, will be out on December 9th.Oh please, please, please let this be available in the U.S....I need to hear Halo again...but I liked all the other songs he sang too. I'm definitely buying it if it's available here. I keep going back to the Halo vid...love that low beginning, then that little run just before the pause. Wow. |
