I guess all the times I voted on the Do Something awards yesterday didn't count. I just kept clicking on the green button, X-ing out the box that thanked me for my vote, and then clicking the green button again. It thanked me for the vote every time, so I assumed each vote was counted. Now I learn that I needed to go to the next category and then return. Rats. Shouldn't the website tell you how to vote--and not say "Thanks for Voting!" if the vote didn't count? I appreciate the effort to thwart the bots, but a little instruction would have been nice! I don't think anyone knows that for sure. Leaving the page and going back, is just a precautionary measure. I'm going with, yesterday's votes counted! ITA. The website gave the exact response from clicking repeatedly, to going to next category, or refreshing – or tweeting out. I'm inclined to believe they did count; as I got the, "Thank you for your vote" message every time. That was triggered by the click. Loved Ferras' "Aftermath"!! He did a gorgeous job with that. Okay, I couldn't understand what he said at beginning, but Starlyyte, who was there, cleared it up for me. He said, "God bless me. I'm doing it in HIS key – the key of Satan." LOL. |
