Q3 I think the "Put Adam in the News" competition will be hugely entertaining. Being the totally non-creative sort at this type of stuff that I am, I'll be cheering from the sideline

Need some advice, ladies! VH1 site won't let me log in. When I go to log in, it just says "welcome back" and then when I go to vote it says I'm not logged in. :-? What am I doing wrong here? try a different browser. I had the same problem on firefox, but when I switched to chrome, it worked fine.

Don’t Say ‘Doo Doo’ Near NYPD Cops Jeff Neumann —A 17-year-old kid says he was beaten by cops in the Bronx after he walked past an officer who was scraping dog shit off his shoe and said, "It smells like doo-doo." Tyre Davis told the Daily News that he was then berated by the cops, handcuffed and later punched several times in the head.....
Adam tie in? He poops too. We ALL poop. lolzzzz (srsly this is a bad idea for me to participate in this little game haaa)

a quick tip on the VH1 voting. If you are using chrome, I'm pretty sure you don't need to click on next category, then music artist to vote again. Just click "vote", then right click on your mouse and press "reload", it refreshes the page and you are ready to vote again. I take it nobody has really determined if you need to leave or reload the page to have the vote count, but we are all assuming that correct? www.vh1.com/shows/events/do_something_awards/2011/music-artist/As far as I can determine..... YOU MUST HIT THE NEXT CATEGORY AND REORDER THE BALLOT SEQUENCE!! If someone can figure out another way to reorder the ballot, great. But if the ballot is not reordered, the votes will look just like a bot vote. It is almost as fast and it is much safer to reorder the ballot each time.

So far, the easiest method I've found for voting is using chrome. I have 10 tabs all open to the voting page.
The 1st time I set this up, I went to "option" (click the little wrench on the right side of the menu bar and pick Options from the menu) and on the tab that opens up for setting chrome optios, there is an "on startup" section. Click the "Open the following pages" option and then the "Use Current Pages" Button. A list of the 10 tabs will show in the list. Close the options tab.
To vote: Start from the 1st tab - Vote and click Next Category - don't bother waiting for the page to load - move on to the next tab. If you are a shortcut key type person, type Ctrl-Tab to move to the next tab. Vote again for each tab. When done, CLOSE chrome then re-open chrome - it will load with all 10 tabs ready to vote. Repeat as many time as you want.
I only had to login to VH1 the first time - it has been remembering me since then.

PJD -- posting your Chrome voting instructions on page 1 -- I just test and it is the fastest way I have seen that is "sane". THANKS! As far as I can determine..... YOU MUST HIT THE NEXT CATEGORY AND REORDER THE BALLOT SEQUENCE!! If someone can figure out another way to reorder the ballot, great. But if the ballot is not reordered, the votes will look just like a bot vote. It is almost as fast and it is much safer to reorder the ballot each time. reloading the page as rabbitrabbit described also changes the order, on chrome anyhow, and is slightly faster! You have to reorder the ballot -- one way or the other -- you can reload the page with the refresh button or hit Next Category. But you MOST LIKELY cannot just hit VOTE over and over again. But I do not believe any "fans" know how VH1 counts their votes. How do you explain a fan campaign to write in Aftermath as the Best Charity Song turned into Adam being nominated for Music Artist? (Although Music Artist is much better IMO and reflects the full scope of what Adam has done.) THE ANGEL SIDE OF ME: They saw the amount of votes for Adam and decided to put him on the ballot. (And he was going to be at the awards!!) THE DEVIL SIDE OF ME: Adam was scheduled to be on the show -- announced before the ballot was released but after he did not make the nomination ballot. A deal was struck to add him to the ballot AFTER they released the first ballot. Thankfully, Adam fans voted like crazy for him so they have cover. THE REALLY DEVILISH PART OF ME: Someone at VH1 made a mistake and left Adam off the original ballot in this category. BUT clearly VH1 heard the "Aftermath" votes -- because it was the basis for the first description they posted for Adam. Then they added DonorsChoose and C:W yesterday. There are no voting rules, no over-site auditing on this. All I know is that it would have been BRAINDEAD for Adam to be on the Show, and not have a nomination for an award. Cause he really did DO SOMETHING.

A congressional panel grilled NASA chief Charlie Bolden today (July 12) on Capitol Hill, repeatedly asking him why the space agency has yet to choose a design for its next-generation heavy-lift rocket.
