There's a very large difference between "smart" and "wise". "Smart" is someone who can figure out how to pull information off a set of odd databases (like addresses from a property tax site) "Wise" is knowing when NOT to transmit the information gained from "smart". This also refers to the morons who ripped Steven Spielburg's social security number, the scumbags who figured out to break into the personal voice mail boxes of royals and private citizens alike, and "fans" who leak out songs before they're ready - thus destroying sales. Smart does not equal wise. But - damn - I wish they coincided a little more often. :( OMG.. I just saw in Access Hollywoods someone climbed walls to get into Halle Bery's house, the guy was in her yard and hid in the bushes.... if your house is supposed to be your safety place where should you go if something like that happens? :-/

Only in LA --- would this be a big deal!! And it will be a big deal, no doubt. "For 53 hours, workers will close a stretch 10 miles northbound and four miles southbound on the freeway, which runs through the neighborhoods of L.A.’s most affluent residents. It’s expected to affect some half a million cars, the number of vehicles that normally travel the highway over a weekend." I have one possible solution -- Burbank Airport. Seriously, I believe this is mini Y2K. I worked in LA during the LA Olympics -- and the dire warning resulted in an empty almost traffic-free LA.

I'll admit I don't know why they're completely closing down the road. Why can't they do what everyone else in the country does and fix just a few lanes at a time?
Hell - they kept the Wilson bridge (which forms the base of the Washington DC beltway) open even as it was falling to pieces, and only shut down for a few short stretches when they were replacing the onramps!

OK -- here is the scoop.
Some fans have gotten Adam's home address from public real estate records and have photos of his house. This happens with almost all celebrities and has happened for decades. (You can buy maps and guides in LA with "everyone" on the map.
This information will not be posted on this site -- and if his home address or photos of his home are posted here, I or one of the mods will swiftly and completely remove the info.
Adam deserves some privacy and respect -- we can at least give that to him here on Adamtopia.
If you have any questions, please PM me. ITA

LOL, like they can route all of LAX traffic thru Burbank? I am hoping that all the hoopla will result in people staying home so therefore, I can get to L.A., because I have theater tickets for Sunday night (which I had before the announcement was made mys*&@^#r). I'm going to try to get in on Saturday morning, but have no idea what's going to transpire. I am prepared to abort my mission if necessary, but I WILL make the attempt. The 405 does a lot more than "run through the neighborhoods of L.A.'s affluent residents," it's the primary connector of the north and south on the westside. And supporting side streets and supporting freeways could not begin to take that traffic on. I've had to go from O.C. to L.A. on many occasions, and it's always a mess. I HOPE it won't be as bad as they're anticipating, but it's hard to rationalize normal L.A. traffic getting even an iota worse. Like someone said, "Think of the people who have had weddings planned in a location anywhere in the vicinity."

They are taking an overpass/bridge down. Guess who has 2 things in LA this weekend? One Saturday and one Sunday, tickets bought months ago... Yup, me! :-/ I have surface street routes mapped out but 500,000 cars that should be on the 405, on surface streets instead! Yikes! I hope the Carmageddon predictions scare everyone and that the alternate freeways are empty (but I doubt it.) It certainly is a great time, though, for Adam to get out of town! It's the unsuspecting people landing at LAX that will have it the worst. I mean, you land at LAX, drive a few blocks down Century Blvd. and you get on the 405 to go North or South. And all the people that work there??? OMG!

I really should not make light of this 405 closure -- there are 4 hospitals that are going to be effected.

Oh, I dunno, Sauli, I'd say in a round-about way it had everything to do with your nice smile and blue eyes!
