{{{Caught Up}}} LOL Breaking out the umbrellas ... Getting excited for the coming storm I am really trying to hurry and get the garage and basement under controll before the "deluge" of Adam news hits... gonna be crippled by the time I am done.. today after a few hours in the basement...my youngest DD helped clean out the junk drawers.. LOL.. #thatfeelsgood ..shh we could sit down and do it.. Ahhh looks like I missed a lot of drama.. *thankgod* I hate all that drama.. so excited about Project runway.. I love that show..Adam will be awesome. and ITA it will be both hilarious and awesome if the designers have to design something for Adam to wear.. How about some kind of Red Carpet look..something fierce but not "suity" ... instruction.. Black and Leather...I think if you take away the clutter of "color and material" you'll get a lot more creativity.. could be both frantastic and scarey.. Saw the new app for Groundctl... the C'mates almost had a meltdown.. I enjoyed it immensely #naughtyseashell

drfunkenberry drfunkenberry Adam Lambert Shows Up At Nikka Costa Show In NY (Photos!) dlvr.it/bDwQ41 minute ago Good job, wal! I just posted tweet on new thread but too tired to embed pics! LOL at Adam's new fav tank top! Not complaining--I actually love that he gloms onto something he likes and just wears the shit out of it (kinda like me)! AND I will never criticize any article of clothing that shows us those freckles! ETA: Seashell, ITA with you about excitement over PR! I love that show! THANK YOU CRAZYLADY FOR THAT FIND! AND I lol'd at the Clay fan comments, too, but I did understand their resentment. Oh, well, can't tell the company who to use for ad purposes--and I just happen to like their choice! To bed for me now...

I mean I wouldn't be trilled to see Clay's picture here but if it's in an ad that is being run on the site I'm not going to bitch the company out for it.

[walks in swinging moderator hat by its ribbons] Sometimes people, especially kids (or those who haven't grown up yet, no matter what their chronological age) get a real thrill out of the I KNOW SOMETHING THAT YOU DON'T phrase. I doesn't matter if the information they found is appropriate. It doesn't matter if there's consequences for having it. Its a stupid game to them. With the winner being the one who found the "coolest" info. And of course, you need to prove you have what you say you have. Its infantile. Yet its very difficult to stop if an individual poster is really determined. And I feel badly for those mods at LiveJournal who apparently sincerely tried to stop it, but the information kept being posted too fast for them to keep up. Please know that there are several ways for the moderators here on ATOP to track people. Its a pain, but it can be done. And we have enough mods to cover nearly all situations. However, we really rely on YOU, the wonderful members here, to help keep our site as glittery and as vermin-free as possible. Thank you to everyone who notified us what was going on, and THANK YOU for **not** posting information that doesn't belong here. "Personally Identifiable Information" (PII) is a serious thing. And everyone here wants to make sure that Adam's (or, frankly, any member's) PII is never distributed here. This includes non-public addresses, personal phone numbers...or heaven forbid...SS#s or private medical information. Again, thank you to all members who comprehend this rather seemingly basic issue. ETA: If there's ever any question on whether its appropriate to post a piece of information that looks like it could be personal but its a gray area because of x/y/z, please PM a mod. Thanks, I'd also like to add to this a couple of small points, all just my opinions, but: 1) the fact that a house is distinctive or noteworthy for it's architecture has nothing to do with and in no way excuses the public knowing who lives there. 2) Though I'm sure it's not intentional the details mys*&@^#r50 and others are discussing make possible for someone to find the house online fairly quickly, even without posting photos here. Just be aware of that. (It's good to be aware that there are often plenty of people out there with more online ninja skills than you.) 3) star house tours and maps, and "cribs" type tv shows doesn't excuse this, this isn't a case where Adam chose to release the info, and home security is a continuum. 4) finally, it's really easy to forget this, but no fan sites or places fans gather to share info are private. If you look at the "members online" any day here, for example, there are often twice as many or more people who aren't members reading the threads as people who are members. We don't know who these people are, and can't make any assumptions about them. don't mean to be a downer, but just wanted to put these points out there before the conversation moves on completely. I apologize that I am not one of the “regulars” that post but I do lurk every day (does that count?) OK!!! I have heard about Adam’s debacle for 2 days now and what I am hearing is don’t look, you will be banned, it’s an invasion of privacy, it’s disrespectful, it’s crossing the line, it’s a travesty of justice and privacy, oh BTW I have seen pics of the interior and exterior of his house, but, you can’t...I remember seeing a picture of Sauli and Katri at Adam’s house with the Hollywood sign in the background a few months/weeks ago and if that house was in my city, I would have known somewhat where it was just from “that” pic. And since it is a “famous” house and was celebrated in the Huffington Post in May and tons of people in LA know the house, how hard could it have been to find it? And since it was found, what’s the big deal? Surely, Adam is smart enough to have security when and if (and it has come) his house was found. How exciting it is to know that Adam is “worthy enough” now for tourists to WANT to know where he lives (not in a stalking way)? This is how some entrepreneurs make a living–finding “STARS” homes. YAY he is a “STAR”. His friends post pics of his house. He is escorted to events from that house. Lots of people know where he lives. NOW....posting his address is as I said earlier “crossing the line” and NEVER should have happened. That is definitely WRONG. And think of it this way–tour 2012 is coming sooner that we think. THE STORM IS COMING!! Adam is a big boy and he will handle what needs to be done. I have faith in him! Judge me gingerly, it’s just my opinion. ILHSFM

I agree with you completely, iluvfun42. Heck, celebrities often have pictures of their homes featured in magazines. It's just not that big of a deal. I love looking at pictures of houses--even those of non-celebrities--and I didn't feel guilty at all looking at the ones of Adam's house. I'm just happy for him that he has a beautiful place to live!
BTW, post more often! Lurking is fine, but joining in the conversation is more fun!
