I feel as if I have been blasted through a time capsule of Adam Lambert today. From his pre-Idol music to GN to a twitter party, I am having flashbacks of the road I have traveled with Adam and personally. I am feeling very nostalgic. As the new chapter of Adam's metamorphosis unfolds, I see another full circle beginning. I am presently packing to move long distance soon, so this parallels a full-circle movement in my own life. As much as one cannot go back, it is heart-warming to revisit the times that have given one joy. Looking forward is the recognition of a past fully inhaled and savored. As I sit here crying and laughing simultaneously, I thank all of you for being my friends and cohorts. This would have been a lonely time without you. Loaded Smile catapults me into a space without space every darn time, so there you have it. I am usually a one-liner type of gal, but today is particularly emotional for me. Think I'll listen to Loaded Smile again. Beautiful! Funny how the text of stanning Adam becomes symbolic and relevant in our own lives...he gives us so much to draw from that inspires thought, creativity, growth and change. Yay! Another Loaded Smile enthusiast. I like the conflicting realities in the song, and the way it shows that feelings that are both true and opposite can exist at the same time. I don't know what this says about me, lol, other than often times answers never seem to be perfectly black and white, and I fairly often settle down most comfortably in the grey. And rarely do I feel a single emotion without feeling it's connection to a rainbow of other emotions that are all part of the prism. Anyway, the song captures that for me. I will say I am pretty black and white about my enjoyment of all things Adam, however, LOL. I agree, Lynne, that somehow Adam's journey has been a barometer of my own, ups and downs. Today, Loaded Smile sent me into an almost stream of consciousness state where the last two plus years of my life flew through my heart and radiated through my tear ducts. Prism..ah yes, well said. That is the visual. Each of his songs taps into a well somewhere: an experience, a thought, a laugh, a person..why Adam? I don't know. He has that gift.

No, that wasn't it, but I really enjoyed that too. ??? ??? Even his bastard cuts are THAT much better than the stuff currently on radio. Folks, why wouldn't you listen? as long as you don't buy it... the thing is that the songs are horrible but his VOICE is incredible in all of them. Most of the songs (if not all) are in low register and BB's low register in full voice is beautiful. Also, very little instrumentation going on there, so his voice is up front and clear... Go for it! listen! because it annoys him so much that he said it made his skin crawl when someone gave him one of those albums to autograph.

Another slow-day post... BetteMidler Dear @ladygaga if you think a mermaid in a wheelchair seems familiar-it's because it is!You can see it on youtube 24/7-with ME performing it BetteMidler I’m not sure @ladygaga knows that I’ve performed my mermaid in a wheelchair for millions of people -- and many of them are still alive..... Am curious to know what prompted this comment by Bette. I have always loved her, but didn't know about her "Delores Delago" mermaid in a wheelchair personna. There are lots of things on YouTube - here are a couple:

When someone gives him the album to autograph, it's implying an endorsement. He is NOT endorsing. We get that. I don't blame him a bit. But this is like looking at an artist's early sketches or abandoned, unfinished works. You know they are not representative, but they give insight into the evolution of the artist. For someone to profit off of his growing pains is not right, but as insight into his ultimate talent, I am listening in the same way I listen to Upright Cafe, CWMBTM and HOTM – It is not what he wants to do professionally and creatively, but it is background for what he is capable of. I would not give one penny to HiFi, but hearing what he does vocally with these tracks is impressive.

This tweet took my breath away. Literally. So beautiful and so much heart and strength and clarity in that statement.
I would buy an "I prepare. I create. I love." T-shirt in every color of the rainbow for every day of the year. I want to live a life so that that is the answer I could honestly give the next time someone asks me what I do.
Yay, Funk!

Gaga just keeps taking her brand new ideas from others old ideas.. She's a bit of a fraud IMHO. THat's too bad because I think she's an enormous talent who should look inward to her own core,to her own creativity. She doesn't need to flatter others through imitation. Just seems like she hit a wall ,like a writer's dry spell.Gaga probably needs to take a break, relax and let those creative juices flow again.
