A few bits of thoughts...... 1. I know I live in a bit of an Adam bubble -- but I really cannot find another celebrity who gets so many He's so nice" tweets". And then, because there are some many Adam fans who are nice and love when other people love him, the Tweeters got lots of respectful questions and agreement on Twitter that they keep talking about him. 2. Since Apollo Global has taken over CKX (19 Entertainment's parent Company) they are taking the company private and appear to be starting to restructure the company to increase profits. Part of that restructuring is to focus more on the main drivers of revenue and profits -- Elvis and Reality TV. It appears that they are getting out of active artist management -- and will assign some artists to XIX. Adam's management contract with 19M runs for 3 years, until June 2012. But Adam has been mostly managed by XIX since last October under Fuller's consulting agreement. 3. There is a rumor on Twitter that Adam was dropped by his international record label. Adam is signed to Sony/RCA, under a global contract. And he has not been dropped by Sony anywhere -- and who in their right mind drops an artist before they release a major album? This rumor seems to be connected to the management shift but twisted a bit.Yeah, wut??? For the record, I have not seen that rumor. I have only seen people speculating that there IS a rumor, but what would be the point of that? I mean they've already underwrote the album, right? And there is certainly anticipation for it globally. I would imagine it a total :  : : He's a proven sell on every level, so why on earth would that scenario ever happen? I think you're probably right that the 19/XIX thing comes from something happening in the middle of the reorganization. I wonder if they are deciding to end some of the contracts early to hasten their exit from the artist management end? |

Q3, I have always appreciated your approach to rumors. Don't post it on the front page as truth till you know it is so. Atop has got to be one of the most level-headed fansites on the web. Thanks for keeping it real.

As usual, I know nothing, but I would think TPTB would be fighting to keep Adam. It's all about the profits, and Adams hard work, talent, 1st album sales, and humble nature make him an ideal artist. Hey, over 1.2 million twitter followers can't be wrong. And we know there are enough of us to raise money for a third album in the unlikely event of a sophomore slump. Money can be made touring, and he has just barely tipped the merchandising iceberg. (whoops, mixed metaphor attack!)

Weird, 19's website is pretty much useless. It just has streaming slides of Elvis, Ali, AI and SYTYCD and a privacy policy. Nothing else.
XIX does have all of 19's previous non-Idol clients, the Beckhams, JLo, Marc Anthony, Annie Lennox, etc., etc. plus Scotty, Lauren and Carrie.

I've often wondered what it is about Adam that sucked me down the crazy stan rabbithole. Yes, the boy has amazing talent but other artists who were really talented never sucked me in like this. So I think the tipping point for me has to be Adam's character.... his kindness, generosity, fearlessness etc. I don't need to list them all for you, you guys know. I just really admire and respect how he lives his life. I know, by following his example I am a better person in my own life. Yes! Absolutely! "word" to your whole post!
