It seems like we have three different confusing topics all at once. 1. Neil and Adam aren't really uncles, but their cousin did have a baby and they probably feel like uncles and may very well call themselves uncles. 2. Alisan and Adam's name were BOTH associated with a project that isn't happening. Alisan cleared it up in Alisan's way. The clearing up took a lot longer than 140 characters and got most everyone confused along the way. 3. The chick in the movie pics is the daughter of a pap, not Neil's girlfriend. Oh, and now we are talking about whether or not it's ok to post Neil's real girlfriend's blog link. Weird day!  |

negativeneil Neil Lambert Today @adamlambert and I are officially uncles. The reign of terror begins. What does Neal mean lol? ??? Someone probably already explained, they are actually 1st cousins once removed, not 'uncles' since it's their cousin's baby, but maybe 'uncle' is an honorary title, or maybe Neil doesn't know his geneology  I totally get where Neil is coming from. My parents had cousins. I never had a cousin. When I had my children, we just could not reference my mother's 50-year-old cousin Willard as a 'cousin' to my newborn. It only seemed right to call him "Uncle Will". To me, cousins are like kids that are related who play together (how I envy those of you who had them!). Aunties and Uncles are older than you - in most instances. This is the explanation for those of us who are geneology-challenged; like Neil and me. OOh! I just put myself in the same sentence as Neil! My best memory of him is when he left the camera at the M&G in Honolulu and came over to tame a cowlick on the top of Adam's head! *heaven* |

I agree. I understand her frustration but I just think...let Adam handle it privately in his own professional way. Public drama, yes. But this is her issue too, not just Adam's, because she is listed as a co-writer with Adam and the questionable dude. I don't think she needs to defer to Adam. I see your point. But I just think Adam is paying good money for great legal and professional advise that I think can get more accomplished for him,Alisan, and the other parties involved privately than in a public forum. But I have no clue when it comes to stuff like this...so what do I know?!LOL :-/ |
