Huh oh. I just got this email from Netflix. "Shipped: The Rocky Horror Picture Show"It was discussed here some weeks ago and a a few of us "virgins" vowed to watch it. I'M SKEEEERED! (I know, it's not scary.) I'm expecting not to like it, so I can't even watch it with an open mind. But I will do my duty. I'm gettin ready! It's fun and the music is great, so I'll bet you'll enjoy it. But I really can't imagine watching it alone in my living room. It's not so much a movie as it is an experience, and you really can't get that without sitting in a crowd of people dressed as their fav character, all shouting out the lines and ~responses on cue, and getting hit in the head with toast and rolls of toilet paper.

I am really surprised that he mentioned this song. I think it is awful. That's irrelevant though. He was mentioning it to bail out JSG as the heavy. It's a song they worked on more than two years ago – he made that apparent, but the guy was getting cast as a villain in this scenario and obviously Adam felt he needed to intervene to prevent it from continuing. Lynne, Love to hear that. Also, replied to your PM and also sent a DM.

I am really surprised that he mentioned this song. I think it is awful. I like the song for clubs but this is not the point. The point is that this song is part of his history and he is brave enough to acknowledge it. And THAT's why ILHSFM!!

Do anyone want to play a game, of speculating of what this big thing happening at the end of August might be, that could possibly be bigger, or the same as the VMA's? My guesses, 1. Singing something, or doing some event regarding Pres. Obama, or the white house 2. Singing something, or doing some event regarding the Queen of England, or for the princes. 3. Perform with Bowie or Queen for a high profile benefits concert or something of the sort. 4. Guest starring, or having his music heavily featured on a popular t.v. show, ie Glee. 5. Perform, or something for next years Brit Awards, whenever that is. 6. Obtained the theme song for the next James Bonds Movie. Can't think of anything else at the moment, wondering what else can be thought of Hmmmm. All excellent guesses. I'll have to think upon it. I've just been waiting to be surprised without thinking what it might be. Yeah me too, but I have a feeling that even if we guess the right thing, we'll still be shocked and over the moon when the confirmation comes out. I just want to try and do something kind of fun in the mist of the drought that is coming to end.

LMAO! I watched it alone in my living room and still rather enjoyed it. (I was one of the virgins too.) Yes, it would be a complete blast with a group, but it wasn't nearly as OTT as I expected it to be. Rather sedate, for this day and age (though still campy/goofy as hell). Loved Susan Sarandon as the ingenue, since I've always known her in her heavier dramatic roles or the fierce woman in charge. She looks and sounds great. As does Tim Curry. ETA: Love the way you think, Marie23
