I don't think so. J Scott said Adam gets 50%. That is true, IMO. Adam said they wrote it together. Somehow, in their contract, I would say Adam gets 50% whether he wrote it or not. I think its great! Just bought it. Has a great beat, gets me going. I want everything Adam is attached to! Tried searching under his name "J Scott G" & "Live The Live" on iTunes UK ??? but it's just showing his old stuffs. I'm of the same opinion as yourself, 'cause I like/want everything & anything to do with Adam

I don't get the confusion. Adam and J. Scott created the song together, for better or for worse. J. Scott waited two years and did not release out of deference to Adam. Now he wants to release it and he was taking a beating from Adam's fans and being cast as an opportunist and a villain. If Adam let the guy twist in the wind for something Adam bears no animosity about, wouldn't he be acting rather callous? Consider if the roles were reversed and Adam wasn't the one who made it, but was still the creative, talented, courageous man he is now, just trying to get his break. Would he be a jerk for trying to release a song he invested a certain amount of time and money on regardless if his collaborator had moved onto other things? If that collaborator tried to disavow any knowledge of it and his fans were attacking Adam because he is doing whatever he can to get his talent out there, would that be fair? He acknowledged it because it's part of his history and apparently he's not ashamed of it, even if it's not representative of what he's doing now. I'm going to take a bit of an alternative track as I've spent the last couple of hours wallowing in how wonderful Adam has been to acknowledge J Scott and recognize lesser souls etc. But it finally kicked me in the teeth when I saw your use of the word callous, that what this really is was a business decision. There are three main reasons for Adam to have "spoken" vs remaining silent. 1) Compassionate - helping others less fortunate possibly catch a break. 2) Honorable - He went for a joyride with J Scott and even when they side swiped a parked car he didn’t get out of the car and run away leaving J Scott to face the music all by himself. 3) Trustworthy – His word is his bond. He’s already got the reputation of having a fan base that is perhaps too passionate at times. If a business in the future wants to make a business arrangement with him such as a sponsorship, spokesmodel, etc. then they need to know that he’s not going to just decide that it’s too much of an inconvenience to uphold his end of the bargain and instead of fulfilling his contract let his ravening fans mop the floor with them. Those fans have made how many different people (Adam Levine being the most recent) publically grovel an apology? Doesn’t matter if the deal has a financial arrangement or not. They need to know that when going into business with Adam that if they uphold their end of the bargain then Adam will uphold his. A deal’s a deal. And in this case he's also got these other mix artists, including Fonzerelli who he's worked with before, who've put themselves on the line for dance club remixes, an area where he needs some support.

mariep -- I love that chart.
I think that 6/14 Westlake sessions could have included vocals for Max Martin track(s). This is the studio where Adam recorded the vocals for IIHY.

I am just glad Adam tweeted and ended any drama about LTL!! And that there are numbers to track.
I am also in awe of that Adam #2 chart posted above. I know that some clues are missing. But I do not have time to dig right now. Like, don't we have a bit more about Miami????

Adam is happy I am happy Adam is happy I am happy Adam is happy I am happy Adam is happy I am happy ;D Great! One of the things I admire most about Adam is that he seems to have his priorities straight and knows that living life is just as important as making a living. Yes, make hay while the sun shines, but I've known so many people who put things off and never got to do them or were not in the same mindset they had been when they would have really appreciated them.
