Haven't had a chance to read the whole thread yet, but it is looking like J. Scott G. day on Atop. At first I was surprised Adam responded at all to the remixes. Then it dawned on me that, damn, that man is a damage control wizard. Making it very clear that this is pre-Idol work and not current will lessen confusion about 'is this the first single from album 2?' Remember the 'Take One' mess where many thought it was Adam's debut? Betcha Adam wasn't going to let that happen again. Of course, I have no way of knowing if Adam profits from this or not. I am not privvy to his contractual agreements. But taking control of the situation is priceless. That's HBIC at his best!! I believe as in all things Adam that everyone should be respected for their personal choice in buying this EP or parts thereof (that sounded suspect..  ) or not. I don't download music, so it is not an issue for me. My thoughts may be redundant since I am on so late and if so, sorry to be retreading. |
