Yes, but that was later, wasn't it? They were in Paris when the Grammys were announced, and that was Dec 1st. GNT in Europe was over by then. Yes, Adam performed in Paris around Thanksgiving, then went to the UK, then went back to Paris. Sauli would have joined him then. Wasn't there speculation about an unidentified friend in Milan? Always wondered if it might have been Sauli, but don't remember if the chronology is right for that...

YEAH, finally figured out how to post a photo! I tried this last year and never figured it out so this is the first time posting this. It was very hot and sunny that day. The venue had no air conditioning. By the time the doors opened the line was around the block (pretty big block too) and had backed up on itself. In this photo you see the front of the line on the right, and the end of the line on the left. Adam's bus is the one in front of the door you see some of here. My first Adam concert! and heh, I see myself in line (the black hair up in a twist behind the woman with the yellow purse). I was very new to fandom at that point so even when Cam and Sasha walked right in front of me I didn't recognize them, nor did I realize a band member was missing until Adam said something. Previously I'd seen Satan's Pilgrims (surf-rock) and some other gigs at the Crystal, and even though I knew it often had terrible acoustics I couldn't resist checking out Adam. So glad I did .

Just out of curiosity, how many CDs need to be sold to hit #2 in electronic and 156 (?) in overall? A few thousand? Probably far less in July -- maybe 80-100 units. The Electronic category is very low sales -- so the #2 is not important. iTunes is around 10% of album/EP sales, they mostly sell individual tracks. This album is in limited released and almost all of the US sales are on iTunes. In July 2011 #200 on the Billboard Album chart is around 2,200 units. Last week #130 album was 3,700. Does not take much to hit the mid-100's. That means that #200 on the iTunes chart is about 200-250 units a week. It varies by day and by what else is happening on the chart, but this is the slowest sales month of the year AND album sales suck. (That is the technical term.)

Would love to hear what you as a newbie thought about the whole scene. Did seeing Adam live turn you into an uber fan or were you on that road already. ps, cute head csharpminor , ha, their last question. ;D

Love the end of this piece.... So today's question is, what do you hope is included in this portrait? Are there any burning questions about Adam you've always wanted answered? Any particular moment of his career you want to see explored? Here a few few moments I'd like to see. His runner-up status on both the AfterElton.com Gay List and the 2011 AfterElton.com Hot 100, and his win for Favorite Gay Musician and Favorite Music Video in our Visibility Awards. How he handles it when twits tweet homophobic idiocy. The American Music Awards controversy (I'll be shocked if this isn't addressed). Finally, I really need an explanation, from Adam himself ... about this. (click on like to see -- I can't post pics right now.)

From the article: "Here a few moments I'd like to see.

The American Music Awards controversy (I'll be shocked if this isn't addressed)."------------------------------------- So, how is this VH1 Behind the Music going to be any different from that True Hollywood Story thing that we already saw? I guess this VH1 thing is good in terms of #2 promotion and general awareness of Adam, but it all sounds like just a repeat. I'm not interested in hearing more stories about Adam's coming out... I'm not interested in listening to inarticulate mumblings by OLFIP. And if I ever hear one more word about the AMAs, I'm going to puke. We've heard all of this before, ad nauseum. I'm willing to bet there will be no new information at all. (yes, I know/I hope it'll be interesting for those people who are just discovering Adam for the first time...) And in Canada we won't be able to see it anyhow. :

Well, I do hope someone will rip it, because I don't have VH1.
