Am I the only one who has never heard of Jackson Rathbone? I used to have such scorn for older people who were ignorant of pop culture. Now I am one of them. "You are not alone." I had to google him. Cute little thing.

Yipes, I made the mistake of reading the comments on that blog. Juvenal beyond belief. And lots of Fantasia hate and the typical Adam's gay negative comments. Really not worth looking at -- not intelligent enough to even deserve a response. But why would anyone post they hope Fantasia is successful with her next suicide attempt??

Q3 or fellow posters to your knowledge has Adam ever had an endorsement deal/sponsor. All I remember is the watch-thing and few odd water bottles in Malaysia/Singapore but that's all. Sorry if I'm beating a dead horse. Thanks. Please tell us numskulls who your avi is. I was thinking of asking about your old avi. Was that someone I should know?

On the Forbes estimated $6 million. These numbers are not very accurate -- Carrie is estimated at $20 million on the Idol list and $15 million on the Forbes entertainers under 30 list -- both for the same period of time. Link to other estimate: www.forbes.com/2011/06/09/top-earning-celebrities-under-30_slide_20.htmlI take it as an estimate that directional -- Adam had a good year and his entire tour fits into that time period. He will not make as much this year, not even close, because he is not touring. _______ Regarding endorsements -- setting aside the Idol deals (Ford and Disney) -- Adam has had a few here and there -- a bronzer (online only), the Italian watch ad, but no major endorsement deals. Adam also has not scored a major tour sponsor yet but may get one for his next tour. (Some tour stops in Asia had sponsors.) It all depends on how well Adam #2 does and if he moves up to arenas and if he wants to be involved with endorsements/sponsors. I would rather see him come up with his own designer clothing and accessory line, than be a spokesmodel for some product. And I really do not want him to be endorsing a weight loss program or cosmetics, fragrances or treatments. Vodka would be nice. Orange amps seemed prominent and weren't they given guitars and other instruments? Are these endorsement deals or just gifts for being showcased? Did Adam have a similar arrangement with Skingraft? They provided the wardrobe. Was this in exchange for all of Adam's pimping?

I was doing some cooking this hot Friday morning and played my Adam CD of pre-Idol and Idol songs. I ended up a blubbering idiot. I am a friggin" old lady. I have listened to great singers all my life. I have never shed a tear listening to anyone's voice. Adam has the most magnificent voice I have ever heard. His enuciation of every word is itself a phenomenon. Adam is the first for me of understanding every word of a song. I am so glad I lived this long to hear his magnificent voice. I am really pissed that I will miss his whole career (unless I live to 110) which is unlikely since I am a reformed "wild child" of the 60's. I had to write this because he has overwhelmed this old lady with admiration and love this fine morning. I really can't wait for the new album. Gives me just one more thing to live for...... I have been right there with you so many times. So often I'll be riding in the car listening to Adam and suddenly I tear up. The emotion he stirs is not a remembrance of another time, another place. It is simply a reaction to the absolute beauty of that voice and the man behind it. It's as if I can physically feel his voice/him infusing every crevice of my soul with such beauty. Never, never have I ever reacted this way to an entertainer. I used to ask why. I have a great family, a great job, good health, so many blessings. Was I missing something in my life? I don't think so, but Adam has certainly enriched my life beyond what would seem reasonable for this rather sedate lady "of a certain age"! I have learned to just accept the gift that is Adam. BTW, could we start working on an Atop assisted living/nursing home for those of us who may need it somewhere down the road? Lots of laptops, DVD players and planned road trips for tours, plus great company. We'd never be bored or lonely and I bet we'd live a really long time! JustWishin - Can I reserve a spot now? This would make getting really old something to look forward to!

At least it wasn't "gayboy." I am so glad that I don't have to read "gay singer" anymore everytime Adam is mentioned. It still happens, but infrequently. I hope we have made our way through that "crap" and never hear it again. I am so thankful to Adam who paved the way for other entertainers/celebrities. May we never have to see that happen again to anyone, most of all our Adam. I am not crazy about "glamboy" either, but it is one step up. I would much prefer "the magnificent/gracious Adam Lambert."
