In today's market, if they had something they thought was fire, my guess is they would release it without an album. With streaming being so vital now, the album is old school. Come to think of it has Adam said he is working on an album? All I remember him saying is new music mmm In that interview with the flaky woman at the Blonds fashion show he said he was working on his 4th album, remember?

Is this from his cruise ship time or somewhere else? This was a corporate gig Adam had for a while. A take-off on the popular show, The Three Tenors, it was called The Three Waiters. There would be a banquet at a convention or corporate event, and the three "waiters" would serve a drink or two to make it look like they were part of the wait staff. Then, toward the end of the dinner, they would suddenly break into song and do a complete show. It included show tune standards and popular operatic arias. If only SOMEONE had filmed it and put it on YT, I would finally be able to hear Adam sing opera. Sigh. Lost to the ages, I guess.

you have to wonder, or at least I do, if because he is working with Nile Rodgers and there is a history of a fast turn around, there might be a release of a single before the album is completed. Truth In today's market, if they had something they thought was fire, my guess is they would release it without an album. With streaming being so vital now, the album is old school. He has to be available to promo it though. Yes, streaming is vital, but radio & sales still makes the BB hits (unfortunately.)

cassie...it is such a shame and a big loss of how much of Adams pre Idol stuff wasn't recorded...although we do have quite some material, but mostly from his 20ies...youth is pretty much lost yes... ...I'd say soaked is quite operetic (check out the AOL session)...parts of the queen songs (who wants to live forever, show must go on) and "come to me bend to me" from the musical Brigadoon...or maybe I'm totally getting things confused...they might not be full on opera, but I think it gives a pretty good idea...

Speaking of those "pre Idol songs" ... I'm still totally impressed and delighted every time I listen to his brilliant version of "My Conviction"!

I agree that those examples show how strong and classical Adam's technique is, and hint at how wonderful he would be singing classical music. They just leave me craving MORE. To hear that voice challenged and pushed to the max with the complexity of classical solos. I think I read once, that the organizers of The Three Waiters show were hoping to find some recordings of Adam, but in the end, were unable to. But, a girl can dream!

But they don't seem to have taken much video. We've seen a little, but not much. We only have audio from Brigadoon. And there is likely lots more we may never see. Such as Adam in Grease. Or more scenes from Hair. LOVE "My Conviction" BTW. I think many of us are hungry for those early performances. Anyone else remember those commercials he did? Running with the dog by the house? And the one with the other students? He had braces in that one.
