Funny that I was researching Joshua Tree last weekend to look at desert flowers which are expected to be spectacular because of the abundant rains this year. Some are already blooming. Hmmmmmm....... It's only an hour away.

Trying to understand this recording process. We know of at least 4 "recording/writing" sessions....the one in London, the one with Nile, one with the co-writers of TOH demo and now this one. I see Patti thinks at lease this one..and maybe others....are actual recording sessions...not demos. So will he take this eclectic mix of recording studio sessions to Max Martin and team and they will cull, modify, re-do, re-mix, etc? It's an interesting process....there's so much of the details I don't fully understand. BUT......He's WORKING ON NEW MUSIC ! Thanks to Sarah...maybe we'll know if this is more than a single song session. I am of the opinion that perhaps Max is not producing this album. And as far as spending the night, my guess is yes. Why drive all the way out there, if not? Yes I think working with Max doesn't necessarily mean that he is producing it.

Wanted to add that I doubt Adam went out to the desert to record Ddmos! Nope, this is actual recording! What a cool backstory for the album! "Recorded at Pink Studios!" SO EXCITED!! Happy to have been wrong about it looking more rehearsal than recording. What a cool place. Wonder if they are/were staying out there for an extended time. www.pinksatellitestudios.com/accomodations/This place has such a surreal quality to it, almost a bit Alice in Wonderland, a place to go Down The Rabbit Hole, and be completely taken out of ones usual surroundings. Wonder whether Pharaoh was allowed to come along, I would think he belongs into the desert, doesn't he? Can you imagine the stars at night? It must be gorgeous and hopefully inspiring. I have to laugh, because just seeing the pink outside, this building reminded me more of pink buildings along Nevada highways with a very different kind of purpose. Lol. You have to see the inside, to know that a bordello this surely is not. But it does have both the playful, colorful, carefree element to it, as well as the lonesome location. So, I could not help the thought. Not that Adam would care one bit. Last time February it was beautiful Stockholm, which in February has a stark and sun-deprived quality to it, but is of course a busy city, this time he goes for the exact opposite. Sunny, and warm, but lonely. The desert tends to be a place where the soul goes deep. Wonder what it will do to the music writing this time around. Looking forward to all of this. And count me in as well in the not-MM column, just not seeing any signs pointing there right now. Quite fine with that, personally. This kind of music you don't get from working with MM. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILHylrgaxtk

I love all of Adam's music..but especially the off beat stuff

I was thinking the same thing that MM was not producing the album. I am OK with that if he is not. Whatever/whomever Adam wants to create this album is fine with me!! This would be an ideal place if he wanted to bring Pharaoh with him too...and Sarah is a good, long time friend...I think this would be great, relaxing and inspiring place to spend a few days and get some great stuff done/recorded. Yeah...
