Throwing something a little different in here. I just picked up an alert that said it was a spoof. Not knowing much about US politics, I don't know, but to me, it doesn't look like just a side-swipe at Adam. glossynews.com/top-stories/politicos-and-polticians/201107250737/insane-debt-levels-suddenly-uncool/What I loved, regardless, was the opening paragraph: "Just as no one knows the cause of earthquakes, sudden mass culture changes are a matter of great mystery to sociologists. History is rife with instances of these shifts. Communist Russia was seen as heroic, but then all of America changed its mind in 1946. Cigarettes were once the epitome of cool, but now smokers are pariahs huddled outside office buildings as if waiting for the next train to Auschwitz. And of course, there’s Adam Lambert." 'Mass culture change' is right I think ??? ??? LMAO, wut? The only reason he's mentioned, in my opinion, is for hits to his blog. But it does go to show how many bloggers are aware of Adam's attraction! :D :D

chunky, rama, susie, thanks for expressing so well what I wanted to say about that article just like when people attempt to say Adam is less of an artist because he is not playing any instrument - the logic is flawed So true. But I think the author of this article was saying that it seems that a performer has to write his own songs in order to have a better chance of succeeding. This certainly seems to be a popular notion for a lot of music fans today. I'm actually glad that Adam is collaborating with different people. I'm hoping that there won't be a formulaic "Lambert" sound because of it. Here is an example of a great songwriter that needs some infusion of ideas: Paul Simon (you thought I was going to say Gaga . His latest album sounds almost like a clone of Graceland--some of the same beats, guitar riffs, melodies. I don't mean that songwriters need to avoid having a trademark sound. Certainly even our masterful classical composers have their sounds that are very distinguishable. But I want more than the same song rehashed.

Here is an example of "You are as happy as you decide to be." Unless there are real time issues, why not go with the flow, read a good book, and not let travel be a pain?

adamlambert Adam Lambert Happy Monday folks!! Looking forward to a productive, creative and happy week!! Adam is such a dichotomy. Sometimes he channels A voodoo shaman or Jim Morrison other times (like this tweet) it's Stuart Smalley or Mr. Rogers. The list could go on. Kid in a candy sore or serious business man...Always entertaining.

Those two/three tweets were so classic Neil and Adam. Neil, ever the curmudgeon, goes to the airport expecting it to be a disaster. And does preemptive bitching. Meanwhile Adam is all hearts and flowers/Happy Monday – the birds are singing tra la la :D :D :D Then his sarcastic tweet to Neil was perfect too. ~Godspeed. lol! You're taking a flight to Boston, Neil, you're not piloting the space shuttle.

I love Neil, but sometimes I think his quote should be "You are as grumpy as you decide to be." #manifestation What a contrast to Adam's tweet, where he's excited for the week ahead.

negativeneil Neil Lambert Omfg an airline employee actually did something nice and let me cut in line. I MIGHT ACTUALLY MAKE MY FLIGHT 16 minutes ago
LOL. More from Neil. This makes me think of his long ago blog where he made fun of his father for being a fuss budget about getting to the airport early, and Eber responded with the number of times Neil had missed a flight in recent memory (something like 6 or 7) and the number of flights he had missed (0). Perhaps Adam isn't the only time-challenged member of that family.

I don't think that Neil is so much time-challenged as he seems to think that the rules of arriving at the airport in plenty of time apply to everyone but him. : "Negative" suits him to a T.
