♥ Adam.Lambert is ♔ foxvegas 11m11 minutes ago The Elton John AIDS Foundation's Oscar Viewing Party 2017 Red Carpet Rundown | Tom Lorenzo THE ELTON JOHN AIDS FOUNDATION’S OSCAR VIEWING PARTY 2017 RED CARPET RUNDOWNPosted on March 02, 2017 Yes, darlings! It’s the Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscars party! The party with the harsh lighting, loud clothes and sea of B-Listers vying for camera time! A Hollywood tradition! Such fun! So many sequins! … EXCLAMATION MARKS!!!!!! Okay, with that bit of forced cheeriness out of the way, let us proceed to the heart of the matter, which is judging people. Adam Lambert
It’s alright. We don’t think he’s one for a vest and we’re starting to think shoes like that only work well with a tapered pant leg. They look a little goofy at the end of a wide one.
I must agree that the vest wasn't necessary as it adds a bit too much bulk for me. A fitted shirt alone would have been just fine and likely sexier. I love the red rose matching the shoes - are these the shoes that he wore for era3 GMA? That was probably my all time favorite outfit back then. But Adam in a black suit is pretty sharp too. Can't complain. One of the fashion points this outfit is supposed to make IMO - and I have not seen a comment about it here yet - is, that the suit is not black. It is dark red in a kind of moire pattern if I am not mistaken. Which makes the whole look much more "Elton" than "classical b/w".

The recording part with the BBC Music awards wasn't a video. It was an article by BBC. www.bbc.co.uk/events/ez22mb/live/cg2rbp?ns_mchannel=social&ns_source=twitter&ns_campaign=bbc_live&ns_linkname=584f08eae4b0629ac075a06f%26Adam%20Lambert%20working%20on%20new%20material%26&ns_fee=0#post_584f08eae4b0629ac075a06fAdam Lambert working on new materialPop star and part-time Queen frontman Adam Lambert is here to present the artist of the year prize. He's just back from Australia, where he's been judging The X Factor. He spoke about that - and his plans for new music. What's it like judging a TV talent show? There’s a real balance that you have to strike between constructive criticism and keeping it light and fun. You got your start on American Idol. Is it weird to be on the other side?It was strange. I’d see contestants walk on and think to myself, "Oh yeah, I know what they’re gong through right now". Sometimes they would try to sing and I could tell their nerves had got the best of them. So I would say, "OK, take a deep breath... What else do you have?’ Because sometimes you just need a second shot. What are your plans for next year?I have so much going on. I’m writing and recording here in London, and I’ll be doing some more in LA when I get home. I have a couple of big announcements to make that I can’t really talk about!

I think wal and Pattihum covered it. I've never heard of "When We Rise". I assume it's a series on ABC? I'll google it. "When We Rise" started out as "Playing Gay" on Kickstarter. I heard about it back in the beginning thru GLAAD, and donated to the Kickstarter project. The response by the funders and by people who wanted to participate was so great that the project grew, and eventually became "When We Rise." You can check it out on Kickstarter here: /comments Just wanted to clarify here the "When We Rise" is an entirely separate project from "Playing Gay". "When We Rise" is a mini-series, "Out of the Box" is a docu-series, different formats. I haven't had a chance to watch "When We Rise" but from my understanding it is a dramatization, correct? That is a different format. The "Playing Gay" Kickstarter did post and update that talked about both the Oscars and "When We Rise" but the projects are not associated. As a backer the updates I have received indicate that the expanded "Playing Gay" project will be entitled "Out of the Box". Here is a section from the announcement I received: And OUT OF THE BOX has now become a 6 hour docu-series that will span the entire history of LGBTQ images on television. From the closeted days of early television all the way up through Lady Gaga’s performance of "Born This Way" before 117.5 million Super Bowl watchers (the largest television audience in history to hear the words "lesbian," "gay," "bisexual" and "transgender"), OUT OF THE BOX will recapture the historic moments that fundamentally transformed our awareness of LGBTQ Americans.

Is this what you were thinking meant Shady was being used again? The "Shady" AND a new tune coming soon are simply a response to the comment "A Nile Rodgers collaborator"! Meaning they collaborated on Shady and a new tune, not that both were coming soon. Exactly! Thank you for the clarification. Apparently it was meant differently than it sounded to me. Oh well.
