Thanks for the info, PastaBaby. Learn something new everyday here! yw now i need to know something myself. how do i do a screencap of the tweet from my phone? i see the apple people did it so that means i should be able to do it fr my droid. |

I don't think he was playing with us. I think it was a DM fail. He must have been answering someone's question. I think so, too. A friend must have asked who was with him on vacation and he meant to answer via DM. But I prefer this explanation from open2it on AWoP: |

I see a pop-up where I can copy. But copy to where? I don't have a mouse to paste or where would I paste it to? |

Re Sleepwalker: I wonder what footage they'll use for the video...Hm...Very probably from the GNT DVD...So that'll hopefully get an extra boost in sales. I am very anxious about Sleepwalker being release all over the place. I don't quite understand why they are doing it if it wasn't a huge hit in Canada. Q3, any insights on this? Also, anyone know how SFW is doing in NZ? It started off well but haven't heard anything much since. There is no reason to be anxious about it. Nothing bad will happen to Adam if it does not sell or get much airplay in France or Germany or Japan. And it was a Top 40 hit in Canada and it did maintain Adam's on air presence in the market. -- Sleepwalker in Canada: Top 40 song for 8 weeks and peaked at #24 on radio. Stayed on Top 40 until first week of Feb. Most recording artists would kill for a #24 song. -- It is still being played in Canada -- and with the promo for the DVD coming up it might move back into the Top 40 again. (IIHY peaked 3 times in Canada and looked like it would not move up into the Top 10, but did.) Considering SW is a 4-1/2 minute song and was not edited for radio, it is amazing to me that it got this much airplay. Outside of North America, UK and Ireland, radio stations are a bit more willing to play long songs with instrumental leadins like Sleepwalker has. Currently in the US the Sleepwalker CD is selling a bit -- even at $14! Product Details * Audio CD (April 5, 2011) * Number of Discs: 1 * Format: Single, Import * ASIN: B004MVPYOU * Amazon Bestsellers Rank: #142 in MusicWhy release this song in other countries? -- to maintain a presence for Adam in these markets. Once they decided to release the SW CD in Germany/Austria/Switzerland, there was little cost to also release it in France. The only thing I don't get is why RCA/Sony did not release a radio edit of SW -- a nice 3:30 version without the leadin and long guitar break. Finally, I would not be surprised if the live Sleepwalker get airplay in countries other than USA, UK and Ireland. |
