Re Sleepwalker: I wonder what footage they'll use for the video...Hm...Very probably from the GNT DVD...So that'll hopefully get an extra boost in sales. I am very anxious about Sleepwalker being release all over the place. I don't quite understand why they are doing it if it wasn't a huge hit in Canada. Q3, any insights on this? Also, anyone know how SFW is doing in NZ? It started off well but haven't heard anything much since. |

But if there are smart E-bay shoppers on this bidding war, they know to not drive up the price until the last minute. I think the perosn that made it go from $1,025 to 2,025 is probably inexperienced. Ok, so the MTV show Adam clip was about Adam promoting everyone else who was on the Grammy's stage.... I am pissed at that and at myself for sitting thru 25 minutes of pure crap. the only benefit - 30 secs of pure gorgeousness.

I have to say I am surprised to see Sleepwalker being pushed elsewhere. It really did not do well here. - I think the trouble was that Sleepwalker never really hit the radio stations. IIRC (correct me if I'm wrong!) only two or three big-city stations picked it up, and I certainly never heard it on my north-of-the-big-city stations. Canada LOVES Adam! WWFM went quadruple platinum here; the FYE single is certified platinum; and the album went platinum as well! I hope - and expect - that his next album will go over just as well!!
Q3 comment: I am so far behind on this thread, that I am dropping this in here -- Sleepwalker peaked at #24 in Canada -- it was played across the country and added by 21 of the 42 monitored Top 40 and HAC radio stations in Canada. It was added by 2 stations in Toronto, 2 in Montreal, Vancouver, Hallifax, Ottawa -- and so on. I do not see any big gaps. But the song is 4:25 -- not a suitable length to be a Top 10 hit on CHR/Top 40 or HAC radio. |

Just saw Adam on MTV. Wow so beautiful and soooooo gracious. He said Miley's great ( even after she snubbed him at Grammy preshow. ps. love that pinky ring.
