Like many of you here, I want to see Adam get endorsement deals to get his face out to the public more, and to get the $$$$. Mac did seem like a natural association.

However, the fact that Adam doesn't have any major endorsement arrangement may be Adam's choice. As we have all commented, he is gorgeous, very photogenic, and a media magnet. Marketing people may very well see that and may have approached him with a number of deals. Adam may have decided that at this point in his career he wants the focus to be on his music, his performance, and his voice. He may think he already has as much "celebrity" as he is comfortable with, or as he wants. He may be thinking that music cred is the major goal at this time, and plastering his picture around for make-up, nail polish, sports drinks, or a clothing company will cause him to look less legitimate to the people in the business he wants to notice him..... serious musicians.

Not saying this is true, but it is definitely possible. Another possibility is that he wants to wait until the new album is out or the new tour is announced. Then, have a sponsor for the tour including a promotion deal. He could be calculating his timing with a bigger picture in mind.

Since anticipation for album #2 is strong with not only fans, but many in the media, since Adam seems thrilled with how the album is coming, and since he is very happy right now, I'm gonna assume that Adam's life is just as he wants it at the moment. Let Ricky do the MAC endorsement. I'm excited for Quebec and the fall release.

It may be different now, but it used to be that only B or C list stars did commercials unless they were overseas. I know some of the women, Beyonce, Drew Barrymore, and then Ashton Kutcher do ads, but Adam is in very good company NOT doing them. And about MAC, I have mixed emotions because I feel Adam is moving his public persona away from makeup.
I've learned in the past to trust his judgement and also not worry about things that are not in his (or my) control.

I try to be fair, but it really bugs me when Kris says, "He deserved to win as much as I did." I want to scream, "No, he deserved it MORE!" I also dislike that Rolling Stone reporter. Something about her annoyed me when she was in the E! special about Adam, and she annoys me in this clip as well. She seems as if she's eager to exploit Adam's gayness for her own purposes. In the E! special, she said something about Adam telling her that he wanted to come out before the end of the show but didn't because he wanted to win, and everything I've heard Adam say makes me doubt that.
