Kinda sorts OT but not rlly...for those of you who were hoping Adam might snag a MAC campaign..well....meet the new face of MAC Viva Glam..... . . . . . . .. RICKY MARTIN. lolz. I can't for the life of me figure out why they gave it to Ricky, and that's not my *bitterbert* speaking, it's just genuine puzzlement. Maybe he's bigger internationally then in the US, I certainly don't follow his career, but has he even been relevant the past few years besides his coming out media tour? I remember he had some sort of awfully bad single that dropped a few months ago but other than that...????? I just don't see how he fits into the campaign besides the fact that he is a gay man.....I guess he must have a bigger international pull then I realized. And Nicki Minaj will be joining him in that campaign as well. EDIT: I know some proceeds to go support AIDS related causes so is Ricky, like, known for AIDS related crusading or something that I am just not aware of?? Very disappointing.. Didn't Adam meet with a couple of representatives from the company..? THe only reason I can see regarding RIcky getting this endorsement would be his connection to AIDS. I see a lot of commericals w/Ricky addressing the AIDS issues. makeup? scratching head ??? For all we know, Adam might have been approached but wanted to focus on music only rather than a gay who likes makeup. IDK OR maybe he really wants an endorsement deal w/the clothing industry. Possibly later on in his career he might re-consider but from what we can gather, his second album is gearing more attention to leather rather than glam. So endorsing makeup might distract from his being considered a bonified artist. |

There are snakes underwater too. Big fat green ones of which I have forgotten their name. They don't chase you but they do not have good eyesight so if you get too close they will bite. The biggest problem is in wall diving when they might be hiding in a crevice and you don't see them. I've had two encounters with them. Once on a night dive I was lying on the bottom looking up under a coral patch and one came out and swam right over me. Yikes. The second was when someone was sticking their flashlight in a crevice to see what was there and the snake came out and bit him. Blood is green at depth so there was this green stream by this guy's hand. He had to go to the hospital. This sounds like eels rather than snakes. Eels hang out in coral reefs and hidden amongst rocks. They're a type of fish, so they don't need to breathe air like sea snakes do. I've encountered many eels whilst snorkeling and they're generally happy to ignore people unless they feel threatened. yep, thank you  |

I am disappointed that Adam didn't get the MAC endorsement. I'm sure he would have been happy to fit it in his schedule. Great exposure.
If he is the guy that is making guyliner famous I can't see how any stigma would be attached to such an endorsement.
