I just wanted to post a shout out to our wonderful Gelly for helping me finally get an avi after being around since the beginning of PF without one. I am not very tec savy and even after all the directions posted here and in the practice thread, I wasn't up for the challenge :-/ So I am happy not to be 'nekid' anymore thanks to Gelly!!

 Wow, words failing me right now.  So excited that I could have the chance to meet some of you during my trip! Thanks for the weather and packing tips - it's good to know these things. Happy for it to not be too hot in San Francisco as I'm not too used to the heat. It will be warmer than the low temperatures we have had here lately! Snow slowly disappearing. I have sent a message to you Pastababy and to you too SusieFierce. Yes, we're at Disneyland on the 8th - could definitely be an option, if I can find my way around that is. loL. Would love to meet you SusieFierce, Stardust, 8toinfinity and MyS*&@^#r50. Around the next morning too in Anaheim before going downtown for the next two nights (9th and 10th Aug) in LA. I won't be able to help myself in keeping an eye out for you know who there!  Needacoke, Bamafan and Justwishin: Memphis is part of our contiki tour (a reason why we chose this tour :D). We are there for 2 nights (20th and 21st August) but really only have one full day there. I'm not sure if we have much spare time as we have a bit to see there - including Graceland. Might have to ask the travel guide of the tour if there's a window of opportunity when we start our tour and PM you guys on that one. : Feel very privileged that you guys would drive to meet me.  Only 5 sleeps to go! Can't wait to be in the land of the fierce glittery one!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY SANDYSVA ! Have a FANTASTIC trip!!!! Of course you will!!! I was in US this time last year....unfortunately as a new-comer to ATop, I didn't have the pleasure of meeting anyone from here, but did meet a few Glamberts I'd gotten to know via AO and twitter! Like many of you here, I want to see Adam get endorsement deals to get his face out to the public more, and to get the $$$$. Mac did seem like a natural association.
However, the fact that Adam doesn't have any major endorsement arrangement may be Adam's choice. As we have all commented, he is gorgeous, very photogenic, and a media magnet. Marketing people may very well see that and may have approached him with a number of deals. Adam may have decided that at this point in his career he wants the focus to be on his music, his performance, and his voice. He may think he already has as much "celebrity" as he is comfortable with, or as he wants. He may be thinking that music cred is the major goal at this time, and plastering his picture around for make-up, nail polish, sports drinks, or a clothing company will cause him to look less legitimate to the people in the business he wants to notice him..... serious musicians.
Not saying this is true, but it is definitely possible. Another possibility is that he wants to wait until the new album is out or the new tour is announced. Then, have a sponsor for the tour including a promotion deal. He could be calculating his timing with a bigger picture in mind.
Since anticipation for album #2 is strong with not only fans, but many in the media, since Adam seems thrilled with how the album is coming, and since he is very happy right now, I'm gonna assume that Adam's life is just as he wants it at the moment. Let Ricky do the MAC endorsement. I'm excited for Quebec and the fall release.

Lookin good, scotia. And your avi provides the definitive proof (not that we needed it) that the other jogger in the pic with sauil (on p.1) is indeed Adam. He's wearing the same skull ballcap, backwards. LOL I just know Sauli chose to use that pic because for once he looks much taller than Adam, because of the perspective! #delusionsofgrandure  |
