According to the guys on DDD Adam would only be able to sing the song in full key if he was doing a one-off concert because the final chorus is murder on the vocal cords. That being said he should still be able to sing it by lowing the key or changing the song around a bit so the only reason he doesn't (IMO) is he doesn't want to sing it. I'd still like to hear renditions of "A loaded Smile" "Pick U Up" "Master Plan" and "Time for Miracles". Yes, that last chorus is absolutely killer to sing. It is wicked high, sung with great power, and has lyrics (as opposed to other songs where he hits high power notes but with an open "ah" vowel sound, which is much easier to sing). He could drop the key --- probably by at least three notes in order to make that final section more singable. However, dropping the key by that much would change the mood of the piece and its power, IMO. He could also change the interpretation of the piece, singing those high notes with a very light head voice or falsetto (like one of the DDD guys did on his YT version of the song), but, again, that changes the power of the song significantly. I think one of the reasons it hits me so hard is because the lyrics are almost screamed out in pain. Softening the piece to sing it would lose much of its impact. I think even more to the point is.... would Adam want to put in the time to work with the band on this one song for a one off? Especially if it meant not just copying the song, but reworking it? It would be risky to add a new song for one performance. And, where would he put it? It is a driving song, but it is a downer. So, not as an encore, certainly. It would fit along with Sleepwalker, perhaps, in the first section. But, that would be duplicating the emotions of Sleepwalker, to a certain extent. I would love to hear Adam sing CLYG full out just once. But, I doubt we will hear it Friday. Sigh. Quoting myself from this morning when we discussed Adam singing CLYG.

Rivers Cuomo: not a great Broadway singer, but I gotta admire the guy for working at it. He has clearly been rehearsing/practicing. He also posted a video of himself learning some easy dance steps (awkward as well as singing "There's No Business Like Show Business." I think it's great that someone who is already established tries something new and broadcasts it for the world to see. What it says to me is that he is someone who is not afraid of learning new things or being a beginner. In a way he is telling us, "Go try something new." (BTW, he looks be very serious about what he is doing in these videos--not just goofing around.) Bravo.

I may not be cassie, but Rivers' voice was a little thin and to me it makes his comments after his and Adam's writing session make total sense. Something to the effect of Adam sounds like what he would like to sound like. Also the dancing video that goes with that link is kind of hilarious. Poor Rivers has absolutely no rhythm. "exactly the kind of voice I convince myself I have on my best day," Cuomo tells MTV News. "But of course I'm nowhere near that amazing."

I think a phone call from Adam is causing Google training interruptus. ;D Since she's learning analytics they might be looking at Adam's website while he's on his phoner. I use analytics fairly often to see who is linking to my sites (you have to be able to put a code on the site for google to track things) and where people are coming from to look at your pages. Since Adam is so international it might be part of the sales strategy (ie why FYI wound up in a store in Czech for example) as analytics tells you what country people are coming in from too. For media it could tell you who to interview with because you don't have to depend on how popular their site is with comments etc but you can tell if they actually bring visitors to your site thru their link. They can tell which pages on the site are deadly dull as in no one visits them. This is interesting also in conjunction with the Cleveland DJ posted earlier, and his comment that part of what gets a song played is how many people in their listening area are buying the single off itunes if I recall correctly. If these kind of underlying stats are driving airplay as well as marketing approaches, it makes sense to me that breadth is as or more important than depth in a fanbase. Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems to me easy to tell the difference between a few fans spamming and broad buyer support for an artist from analytics. Also to tell out of town requesting versus in town, and bulk buying by a handful of people versus individual purchasers. I'm wondering how current fans can assist with broad as well as deep (as I think we have the latter covered). It will also be interesting to see how era 2 is rolled out, and if ALF and AO are revamped at all as part of that process.

OMG Rivers Cuomo is soo adorkable. LMAO. He seems sooo earnest about it all, and yeah his voice isn't spectacular, but there is something so endearing about someone who is really giving his all and loving every second of it. He is such a goober, lmao, I think I have my new nerd crush. Hahaaa
Plus the "dancing" is flawless. FLAWLESS. Pure white guy dancing in it's finest form.

9 Steps to Create Rockstar Fans:drvinnycalderon.com/9-steps-to-create-rockstar-fans"In Internet Marketing, Network Marketing, MLM, or Direct sales it’s not always the “quantity” of your list but the “quality” of your list that counts. But the question remains what does it mean to have “quality” list and how do you make one? Well, let me tell u a story about what I consider “quality”. I was sitting at Starbucks one morning drinking a cup of 4 dollar coffee, just catching up on some FB messages and getting some work done, when I was entrapped in a conversation with a TRUE FAN. I mean a TRUE FAN! Ms. Taren Power was unlike anyone I have ever met… I never heard somuch about Adam Lambert than I did in those 20 mins we sat talking… all I really knew about the guy was he open mouth kissed another dude on national TV and he was on American Idol… but that’s besides the point. I checked out his twitter page and realized this guy is killing it, and with an army of Taren like “glamsters” I can see why. You can not pay for this type of word of mouth publicity."...... I love this! And agree!

As someone from the Cleveland area who is familiar with said DJ and the radio station he works for--otherwise known as ALL KESHA ALL THE TIME but really known as KISS 96.5--I have to say I have not once heard any Adam song played on that station. Not once. There is only really one major Cleveland station that played his songs regularly and that was Q104. For future reference.
