[For Phoenix it said the capacity is 13550 and that 10191 tickets had been sold so far. All the shows seem to be selling really well. Are the tickets that are up for resale counted? I got the impression that at some venues there are many resale tickets available. Meaning that QAL are making money, but that there could be a lot of empty seats? The only time it is worth looking at how many tickets are on resale sites is right before the concerts which is a long time away from now. That is the only point at which the possibility of empty seats is relevant. Tours are judged by how well the actual sales go not by whether resellers get stuck with tickets. Most of those reseller seats will sell and they will lower their prices the closer the concerts get in order to move the tickets. Not worth any worry at all so no need to pay any attention to resellers at this point unless you are looking to buy tickets that you can't get at primary sites.

I've watched this tour announcement vid several times (cos there's so much of Adam in it) but it was only yesterday that I realised something I hadn't known before - that Queen were actively looking for a singer in order to continue.
I wasn't around when they first got together with Adam but I'd always thought that it came about when they met him quite by chance on Idol, but no, Roger's story about Spike's wife and the "get in here" when Adam was singing Whole Lotta Love followed by Spike's email to Roger made it clear that this wasn't the case.
No, Spike clearly knew that Roger and Brian were looking for someone or he wouldn't have gone to the trouble of emailing from across the Atlantic to tell them to check out this fantastic singer. It also fits in with the story of them trying to get in touch with him right after Idol but he was too busy with his album.
Presumably after the Paul Rodgers collaboration they wanted to go the Journey route and find a singer with no history, someone who they wouldn't have to share a back catalogue with and concentrate purely on Queen.

Not sure i interpret that as them "actively looking." I think Spike was so blown away, he wanted them to see Adam as a "hey, maybe we can do this again?" Like an opportunity that they weren't looking for, but the possibility was too good for them to not consider it. It was 2 years between finding Adam and doing the EMAs. I don't think they fully realized what they had, though, until the Vegas iHeart Festival. As they have said, more than once, something there just clicked! I would imagine performing again is always on their minds. I mean, it is in their soul. Who they are! Their essence, you know!
