Sooooo funny. The trolls are out in force today on TWOP Adam thread but the regulars have gotten pretty good at checking posting histories and such and now they are just having fun with them. Pretty amusing. Wow I was following this yesterday, didn't know that so many people posted from last night till now, well time to read before it gets deleted or closed |

wal - thanks for the bands tweets re: Moscow! Boy, my memory really is bad. LOL I'm betting they will tweet once they arrive or for sure tomorrow - maybe on the way to soundcheck?? I was very curious as well. ;D |

HAHA, I'm laughing so hard right now, after reading those TWOP posts, I know, I know it's petty, but it's just so funny how they all come out in full force to proclaim how much of a failure Adam is and that he is only doing as well as he is cause of the promotion that he got.
It's just so funny, and yeah those TWOP Adam fans really know how to deal with the trolls haha.

Sorry if my question about the Do Something VH1 poll sounded dumb. It just seemed odd to me that they would present an award based on fan spamming voting. I didn't think your question was dumb at all! I question these things too. There was a voting thing a couple of years ago that would have given Adam the Best New Artist award in--something, I'm blanking on the title of the awards show--and I voted my fingers off. He didn't win. I kind of suspect that the awards are decided in some other fashion and the poll is just a way of getting hits. Either the person deserves the award or they don't, and the ability and/or willingness of a fan base to sit at the computer hour after hour clicking and refreshing doesn't seem like a good measure of the celebrity's worthiness. OTOH, that's how American Idol is decided! So I vote in these things when I can, and hope we're doing enough, but I remain skeptical that it means anything. Several awards are by fan vote. People's choice and Teen Choice to name 2. I think the AMAs are too, right? It's not that unusual at all. There is a Country music award that is also fan voted. |
