Just listened again. I'm loving the song. And honestly guys, I'm kinda picky sometimes, LOL. Love the anticlimax/understatement of "they say we'll rot in hell/ I don't think we will." Its just so REASONABLE. I love that. And I love the classic rock feel to the lyrical refrain "outlaws of love." There's something so great and throwback to that when paired with a melody that mostly feels so light and ethereal and modern. REALLY curious as to what the production will be like on the album--are we looking and a hazy, blippy, electronic broken open style production, or just a straight-up acoustic like he did it here? Feel pretty confident it won't be wall-of-sound overproduced though. Not with Adam in total charge like he obvs. is. <3

I HAVE 100% FAITH that the songs in this era will have quality that far surpasses the FYE. The new song is soooo lyrically beautiful and haunting and it's retty clear it's about gay equality/gay marriage whatever you wanna call it...yet it can still be about other things as well. LOVE IT.
