Listening to Adam talk about how things were when he was a teenager makes me smile. He is old enough to be a dad to these kids. Do you think they roll their eyes when they hear him talk about "back in the day?" To us fans, Adam seems very much on the forefront of trends, fashions, music etc. But, to a 15 year old? A wonderful role model to be sure, but maybe "too old" to identify with.

Love Adam's prom tux! Perfect for the occasion. And I'm no real leopards were harmed.
Love his 70s redneck guy. It is spot on. Adam can do ACCENTS. Adam can do FACIAL EXPRESSIONS. Adam can do INFLECTIONS AND HUMOR. Adam can do QUICK WITTY ADLIBS. Somebody somewhere has to give him a real acting gig. I mean, come one.
As for Adam being too old. There are plenty of thirty-somethings that younger fans still identify with and love. His fan demographic doesn't have to be all teens. His fanbase is really broad. He can act his age just fine. No need to pretend he's younger. And his "back in the day" isn't all that long ago.
He is gorgeous and wonderful and talented in more ways than I can count.

Wish Adam had been my prom date. I went to my prom with a guy who was just a "friend." Had a nice time, but still.... Adam is looking incredibly fine. Turning up the "gorgeous" dial for QAL, not too far off.

I suspect we are going to see a lot of this for the next 6 months plus. There will be so much speculation just like with all the media coverage of Kelly Clarkson. Sigh..... they probably won't announce the judges until a month or so before like they used to do. We would go through the whole summer speculating and bam they would announce the judges weeks before the new season. What will be, will be. i would love this for Adam as I feel he is more than qualified to be a judge and would be an outstanding judge at that. My honest opinion is that he will not be considered. ABC had issues before with Adam over 1500 complaints over the AMA's verses millions of viewers who were okay with the performance or if they had a problem with the performance had full lives that they couldn't be bothered to complain about it. Lol ABC banned him from their network for 2 years over 1500 lousy complaints. That speaks volumes. I know times have changed since then but too many people haven't changed from the dark ages way of thinking. ABC is family friendly. Doing auditions in Disney Land or world whichever one it is reinforces this. They should ask Nick Jonas to do it. He is as family friendly as they come. Family friendly equals boring. Let them staff the show with their judge choices. It will only make the show sink faster in the ratings. Buckle up we're going to be hearing a lot of judge's names being thrown out there for months to come. Some will at least cause boughts of laughter - Steven Tyler's interest in being a judge again for one.

I'm so over the whole Idol judging thing! As much as I'd like to see Adam on TV every week, I think I'd rather see him in a TV or movie musical, or on Broadway. Maybe he got the judging out of his system with XF AU. And he's bound to show up on Idol for a performance.
