socal/hollywood experts ? 4 u. Why such low fan turn out at Captain Underpants red carpet? Weekday morning, kids in school? Having it just for the media soundbytes? Not a big enough movie? They always make the red carpet the same size? Small theater? It's just that there was nobody there. Is this normal for a cartoon type movie? It was at 11AM Sunday -- a very normal time for a premiere of a children's for family-oriented film premiere. Yes, this event was primarily for media and press. There are a ton of premiere's at the Regency Village Theater in Westwood and the usually have the same red carpet set-up. 40th Here is a list (I am not so sure how complete it is) of the premiere at this theater: www.thewestwoodvillage.com/movie-premieres/I lived in Westwood, still go back a few times a year, and have attended many premieres at the Regency Village and Bruin -- both on Broxton Avenue. It is pretty crowded there and I have never seen a "big" red carpet setup. Movie red carpets, or white carpets (Frozen), black carpets (Nightmare Before Christmass), pink carpets and so on are usually not the same scale as event red/whatever color carpets. Premieres happen all over the place in LA -- Hollywood Boulevard gets a lot of the big budget movies (Grauman's Chinese Theatre and Disney's beautifully restored El Capitan Theatre). Many are at the Cinerama Dome (cool theater at Sunset & Vine). Sometimes the premieres are at a non-theater location -- I went to one at the Griffith Park Planetarium and a couple at Universal CityWalk and The Grove. I have been very lucky that I have been to many premieres and previews of films. The most amazing was I saw Star Wars before it opened at a preview at the San Francisco Exploratorium -- we were not really sure what the movie was except it was a big deal to see it. We got passes because my soon-to-be-husband was at the American Booksellers Association convention. **** ETA: I see Patti already answer your question!!

It was Sunday morning, not a weekday. Is that supposed to be a link? It is a small theatre, BTW. Not a link, days are all running together for me since I work from home. So why do you think there wasn't anyone there? I mean there were a few people there but not many. Red carpet is a media event. IDK what you mean by "nobody there?" Is there a story about this I missed??

Thanks for the explanations as I also wondered why it seemed to be so sparsely attended.

The track is not available yet. I am hoping that once the album presale time is over, they will have individual DLs. If not, then I will just listen on Spotify.

If I remember correctly...it said 'album only' als well for the Rocky Horror soundtrack until it's actual release when you could buy all the tracks individually, at least on google play for me that's how it worked if I'm not mistaking...so I'm still hoping for that next friday...
