Adam could definitely take this song the straightahead adult-pop route (a la his biggest hit, "Whataya Want From Me"), but of course I am excitedly imagining a bombastic recording that turns it into a full-blown, wind-blown power ballad (a la my favorite Lambert B-side, the epic "Can't Let You Go"). In fact, some of "Outlaws Of Love's" lyrics almost have an '80s stadium-ballad feel to them...and I mean that in the best possible way. .
But no matter what, I'm sure Adam will be singing this song in stadiums--hopefully ones in the States--soon enough!Lyndsay loves her some ROCK!!  |

One last thought on THE SONG>> I agree, of course, that it is highly unlikely to be the first (or second) single: I think that will be a poppier song, and he wouldn't debut it like this anyway...BUT...
I do think this song, depending on production, could have radio potential. It is of course a gay rights song, but it could also apply more widely to any unhappy or challenged love affair, and I think many people will feel it personally. To me, it has the potential to be something like that Jar of Hearts song--same slow and immaculate build, and even better killer, heartfelt vocals. But 2cents will buy you far more than that insight, lol...
Whatever it is, that song was soo pretty, and will be running through my head as I doze off to sleep. And tomorrow morning (providing she didn't spend the night catching babies), AMW and I have a date to peruse the Suz's jewels...
