OMG LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FOREVER. I finally just saw that too. God, he's hysterical!!! Interesting tweet: @billyontheradio: Even though I am in the business, I would tell any artist this: NEVER WRITE A SONG "FOR RADIO"! Make a song that comes from your HEART.

I must have a download of this WLL too. It is like the perfect bookend to FS. The vocal, on this one is not as great, but the sexy is off the charts! My gosh! Adam singing WLL, wet, in the rain! That will probably never, ever happen again!

Like many of you, I can't stop listening to OOL. Just finished watching/listening to the Talc version. You clearly hear a girl shout "Marry me!" Dayum!!! First reaction, "He's singing about his pain, and you are shouting something so inane." Then, the delayed reaction. "Perfect irony. Adam could find the girl in the audience and marry her today, no problem, but, in most places in the world, he can't marry the man he is deeply in love with, the man he is singing about with such poignancy." The juxtaposition of the shouted proposal, and Adam's experience in RL makes an incredibly strong statement. The "Marry Me," when he is singing about being Gay and not being able to change infuriates me! I wonder if those people yelling were even listening! >:( that reminds me - this "We can't change" line was the only one bothering me in this song. Seems so "anti-Adam" to me in that it's so - IDK, hopeless and defeated? But then I guess, after some people didn't like him saying "who I CHOOSE to sleep with" in It Gets Better vid, because they felt he should acknowledge the "born this way" factor, - maybe this was his nod to that? Still. The song IS about pain and struggle for freedom and better world, but the tone of it doesn't feel hopeless, it's strong and full of love. And this line just - IDK, rubs me the wrong way each time I listen. ("We can't change" - like "we want to, but can't"? First, we CAN change anything we want to change, but second, why would we WANT to change who we love? I say, just tell anyone asking us to change that to GTFO, eh? ) And, hell, I hate when people are talking - or fucking screeching when the artist sings something acoustic. Gosh, just shut the ef up, will you? >:( Anyway, it's a gorgeous song with strong lyrics and Adam sounds incredible.

A lot has been said about Cook's album and how old school it is and how radio unfriendly. BUT, that album has David's heart poured into it! If you know David, his heart is not only on his sleeve, it is bulging off his sleeve in 3D! Did not work! You still need, IMO, a minimum of 3-4 radio ready songs. Sad!

You realized that his boots are new? It's the third paid of Rick Owen boots! Oh boy he loves them and they love him! Gelly- I'm late to comment, but I noticed that too. How do you think they held up to a downpour and mud?

From Chunkey's site; Erin (jolson2miggles – brilliant artist and apparently a pianist as well – *slinks off joins you in corner, Chunkey*) as worked out OOL for piano. Wow, shows how gorgeous the tune is by itself. www.thehomeplanet.org/?p=68239

I don't take it that way at all. IMO, that line is speaking to those who say being gay is a choice. Adam is saying it is not. This is who I am and it can not be changed. I did NOT choose to be gay. For lack of a better phrase, "I was born this way."

Like-- he can't (and certainly doesn't want) to change the fact that he's gay, and yet people expect him to change. There are freaks who think that being gay is a choice, or that someone can be "cured." ETA: Mys*&@^#r, jinx

He didn't address it directly- IIRC he only posted 2-3 times. We were just falling all over ourselves to apologize for so much talk of lusting after body parts and he said "no worries." I never posted on TWOP (just lurked a lot) but I remember that particular conversation. It was hilarious! By the way, I loved your mask for yesterday!! Good one!
