OT for all this talk about the concert, but... I thought it was interesting. When looking for concert vids, this one came up, and out of curiosity I clicked on it. Some guy doing CLYG. Pleasant enough voice. An example of why you should not try to sing an Adam Lambert song if you don't have the range, the power, the voice to do. He changes up the melody and drops the chorus down the octave to hit the notes. He turns the song into a pleasant little ballad, as opposed to a heart-wrenching powerhouse. as opposed to this: cassie, there's one guy from DDD that did a cover of CLYG, I think it's JRB. He was not a fan of Adam in the beginning but he is now. He tried for AI before Adam's season but I guess not unique enough so they didn't let him thru. So not sure if this is that guy. BTW.. I can only listen few second of Ryan Jones cover of CLYG and had to stop it... couldn't stand it... well I couldn't stand anybody that tried to do a cover of Adam songs, but those kiddies just coz they're cute.

Dang, I had written a long post about the marriage/immigration issue and then I got a call that I was late to an appointment I forgot I had. #woops; I hit Send, but I guess I timed out and it didn't post. :-/
ITA regarding the changes that are already happening regarding gay marriage/DOMA and what will be immigration policy. It's changing very quickly and believe it will time perfectly for Adam and Sauli WHEN and IF they decide they want to take the next step.
Prop 8 is hanging by a frayed thread in California. It will go down in the next year, I'm sure of it. They've already lost two different appeals and they only have a continuance right now to TRY to think of some other lame reason why it should stand. The governor (when he was Attorney General) said it was unconstitutional – end of story.
The immigration issue proves it is not just a state matter, which is the political football the Fed likes to hand off when the debate is inconvenient.
It will probably still be an issue in the 2012 elections, but I have a feeling the right might end up backing off some. All their horror stories will have not come to pass as the people who were married in California pre-Prop 8 will have been married for four years without any nonsense predictions proponents used to get it passed coming true. NY would have had marriage for a year as well. The majority already favor it, so they're only going to further divide if they persist in politicizing it.
DOMA is on its way out, which will pave the way for the immigration laws to be overturned. Would be very interesting if Adam AGAIN is the lightning rod and ends up being the public face of this issue.

You know, I am wondering since Eber included Cam in his tweet about the girl playing Outlaws of Love on the piano, if possibly this is the song that Adam worked with Cam on? It is probably just because Cam plays piano, but you never know.

Thank you, Lynneville, for sharing this. I am crying buckets. I was hoping that Outlaws of Love would help LGBT people, particularly young people, to cope. Having someone sing your pain and your memories makes you feel so less alone. This poem affirms that Adam has done that.

I know it's stalky, creepy but I don't care I'm going to say it...I wish there were video of Sauli watching Adam perform. LOL, there was a conversation on Twitter about that. Someone said, "I wish someone with questionable morals would get video of that so we can watch it, then judge them later." but then again, who wants to take their eyes of Adam on stage even to shoot video of Sauli?? Even if they have questionable morals ;D

Everything a character that Adam Lambert. For its passage at the festival in Sainte-Agathe lights on Friday night, the international star was able to move not only the local population, but some of his fans in Australia and Europe had also followed in Laurentians.
Some were even dressed in attire similar to that of their idol. This shows to what point the interpreter knows the wind lifting of affection wherever he goes. This enthusiasm is also made palpable a few minutes before the concert, as people demanded the guest strongly applause and shouts of joy.
A year after the joy of the audience in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Hot Air Balloon Festival, Adam Lambert was to return to Quebec at the end of July, and was dangerously fit. Which do not unnecessarily languish his audience, the show has hit hard at the outset by starting the evening with his success For Your Entertainment. Won, the crowd responded enthusiastically to this beautiful gift. Eager to keep a little magic for the rest of the show, the artist, however, waited a little later to get out his other radio tubes.
History to maintain the wait, so he offered a brief guided tour of his one album on the market and proposed re-readings of hits. Parts Rabbit Hole, Strut, 20th Century Boy, Aftermath and Sleepwalker were chained in a big way before the public once again exploded with the sound of famous If I Had You. Before turning to the "dessert" (Whataya Want From Me), Adam continued his performance with Music Again, Mad World, Outlaws Of Love, Erotica, Sure Fire Winners, Fever and Whole Lotta Love.
The charisma of the young man become truly a pop icon, has operated at full capacity during this presentation in Quebec. Eccentric, colorful, unique, Adam Lambert is comparable to the oldest road in the music industry worldwide, and this proud representative of the gay community has certainly not stolen its success.
Fairy tale
All that touches Adam Lambert seems to turn into gold for the past two years. Came in second place in the eighth edition of the reality show American Idol in 2009, the singer of 29 years has managed to sell over 600,000 copies of his album For Your Entertainment in the U.S. alone. The play Whataya Want From Me, alone, was enthroned at the top of the charts in several countries, including Australia and Japan, and his song Time For Miracles was included in the 2012 feature film.
Adam is currently working on her second solo album, he promised his fans for spring 2011. However, various circumstances have delayed the launch of the wafer, which is, not surprisingly good, very expected. The artist was nominated at the last Grammy, as best male pop vocal performance.
Sainte-Agathe fires continues until Sunday. Tomorrow, the legendary Kenny Rogers takes over the main stage from the beach Tessier.
