I wonder how does it feel like to watch and listen in a concert the most wanted man on earth right now and know that he is yours.. listen to the song he is singing concerning also their relationship and the pain and agony and also the joy and soothing words that they are not wrong ... I certainly would have loved to see Sauli's face there. I am sure Sauli was swallowing a lot of tears of happiness and awe!! If I had been in a similar position.. I don't know.. maybe I had fainted even before the concert had started;) I hope Sauli will blog about his reaction to the concert. I know that both Adam and Sauli are trying to maintain some privacy about their relationship, but this was a public performance and as far as anyone knows, the first time Sauli has seen Adam in concert. He writes about the things that impress him, and this certainly had to have impressed him! |

Hey, quick question... I haven't had time to look back over both threads--I've skimmed some... Have we discussed Adam's chosen, boyfriend-friendly alternative to the Fever-kiss, or have we just been too caught up in New Song Glory? I thought it was hilarious but haven't seen it come up (probably there was already an in depth analysis here with twenty-seven 8x10 glossy photographs with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one and I just missed it, in which case I apologize for the redundancy). You can see it here on this vid...at the 18 second mark, instead of kissing Tommy, he asks Tommy's tattoo of John Wayne "how you doin'?", and then kisses it (him--the Duke), and then says in a lulzworthy southern accent "Welp, lets step up into the saloon..." and then goes on into the "we'll never get too far/ just you me and the bar" lyric... Tommy is CRACKING UP... LOL seriously Adam never change. *grin* MWP, love the Alice's Restaurant reference --> last time you used the " arrows and pictures on the back of each one ..." I had to go on a YouTube quest (Because (ahem) " you can get anything you want on Youtube late at night...") and yup, Arlo's still singing it, full length (cuz he's not proud. Or tied.) and it's still 17 minutes long (I had forgotten just how long it was. And yes, I was also thinking how cleverly he'd managed to shift gears on the Fever kiss -- new boyfriend, new era, new "bit". I don't think it's been discussed yet, though -- too much goodness all at once! There are so many resonances here every time I read -- thank you all for the pix, the tweets, the vids, the articles, the recaps, and for your own sweet selves! Anybody mind if I use this pic as an avi? It was posted earlier -- from TALC, I believe. |
