Ok after listening to that other piano cover youtube posted I have to say, I REALLY hope the album version is done with piano accompianment. Very sparse instrumentation and a focus on the vocals...it would be chill worthy. Sorry Lyndsey Parker but I srsly hope it's not some bombastic power ballad or whatever else you suggested he could do with it...imo that would ruin the simple poignancy of it. YMMV

adamlambert Adam Lambert I'm getting a little burnt out on the term "swag" Is it just me? I wonder what that is about???? Swag is a foolish term but I rarely hear it. But I think he is referring to swag -- the shortened form of swagger to mean one's style and how you carry yourself. It's used incessantly on SYTYCD. |

Today is the 2-year anniversary of the 2009 Duluth (Atlanta) Idol Tour. A few of my memories..... @lisbethma and I decided to make a sign that said "Call Us Your Bitches" since Adam had not said "bitches" since early in the tour when he said something like "Get up and dance, bitches". They let us in the venue with it - whew! Our seats were front row in the "crotch" of the stage on the right side (stage left) - thank you Stubhub for qucikly draining my checking account. We had done our shopping at the sex toy store and threw our purple furry whip on stage, I think it was at the beginning of the Bowie medley. He picked it up and had a good time with it.  We held our sign up when he came over to our side during Starlight and he smiled when he saw it. As soon as Adam was over and Kris came on stage, the people behind us wanted pics of our sign. We turned around for them to take pics and I got one of them to take a pic of us with my phone. I tweeted it and immediately got @replies saying "LOL is that Kris you have your back turned to while he's performing? " Ummmm yep. Oops. Here's the twitpic:  Six of us went to the AfterParty together. We were all friends at castrocopia.com, a Jason Castro fan site. Lisbeth and I got in the line for Adam as soon as he came in the room and got Ray to take a pic of the two of us with Adam between us and we were holding our sign. Oh...when Adam saw the sign he said something like "I saw that in the concert - I love it!" We realized after we walked away that Ray had cut the sign off. Sooooo we got back in line again (unbelievably long line) and this time got a pic of Adam holding the sign.  One of our friends from castrocopia carried Flat Jason to the AfterParty with her and got all the Idols to pose in a pic with FJ. A couple of the Idols seemed insulted by being asked to pose with FJ. She saved Adam for last because the line was so long and when she finally got up to him, she said "I feel like I've been waiting in line for Santa Claus." Adam died laughing and grabbed her and FJ up in a huge bear hug. She then explained about FJ and Adam thought it was hilarious. He spent more time with her than he did any of us. He LOVED FJ. Oh...she was wearing her Kradam t-shirt. LOL Here are the pics:   I met one ATOPer that night - nobody44. I had talked to her at MJ's and told her where I was sitting so she came and met me. Wish I had known more of you back then. |
