Back home; 72 hours; almost 6000 miles; an aborted take-off; then circled the airport until I was dizzy, trying to find my 'airport hotel'; just unpacked a suitcase with clothes that are still 'soaked to the bone'; and this experience still spins above and around me; not settling into words yet. I do know I will never feel the same. I must have grown inches in my heart.
I do remember I wrote the following on my itinerary envelope as we were descending into Detroit, where I would catch my connecting flight to Montreal.
Our aircraft had to reroute due to thunderstorms, and as I watched the on-board flight map, to my amazement I noticed, as we approached the Detroit airport, we flew directly over "Lambertville", which is located just south of "Blissfield", Michigan. I kid you not!!!

found on DDD - a new "vocal range" video: It is mostly accurate, but I have listened repeatedly with my Bose speakers turned up and cannot hear the final two low notes they say are there. The first is the spoken "who are you?" before ROF. What note is that? It is spoken. How can he be singing if he is talking? Then, the last from Fever, I don't hear any particularly low note. Are my geriatric ears missing something????

Momtomany -
Sounds like you've been displaced, in a good way. Can't wait to hear more from wherever you may land.
