HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMW!!I'm still trying to catch up on everything I missed since last week - I WAS in Canada on the 29th, but unfortunately it wasn't to attend that magnificent concert. :( The week started with a mad dash up to Toronto as my MIL, who's been fighting cancer, took a turn for the worse....we made it "just" in time and my husband was able to see her before she passed. Sad week. ....anyhoo, sorry to be a downer.  I SIMPLY ADORE ADAM'S NEW SONG and have been listening nonstop. It's so moving and heartfelt.....and my gawd, what an exquisite voice!!!! Read the concert thread - now must skim through everything else I've missed.....yikes! Haha! How will be keep up when his new album drops?!

Hi everyone! Just delurking to say thanks to all of you for all the wonderful Adam goodies and beautiful, thoughtful posts on this site. Spent last night and this morning catching up on all the concert news and the amazing new song. Also, the posts from everyone yesterday really made me choke up, too--you are all so amazing. Happy birthday AMW (and everyone else that's been celebrating another year recently!).
I am not on twitter, so I was wondering, has anyone tweeted the Outlaws of Love video to The Ellen Show? She loves Adam so much and I can see her mentioning it on her show.
Also, I was thinking Outlaws of Love would work really well in an episode of True Blood. What do you think?
OTT, but if some of you wonderful folks could find it in your hearts to send your light and love toward a friend of mine who has just had a recurrence of cancer (a rare soft-tissue cancer, the name of which is escaping me right now), I would be so grateful. Her name is Angie and she is a creative, lovely person. She reminds me of Adam in that she is always positive, even when facing the difficulties of this disease for the past three years. She and my husband went to art school together and I have become friends with her through him. We found out she was not doing well again this weekend and I'm trying to remain optimistic. Thanks for any positive thoughts you can send her way.

Hi Jokey....good to see you.....my sister is fighting lung cancer and had a bad time of it a couple of weeks ago but she pulled through and is doing better, for the moment at least....Atops here put out the good thoughts and I am sure they helped...helped me at least. So putting mine out.... Good idea re Ellen. Another person to put a word in might be Anderson Cooper. He is starting his own daytime show in the format of the old Phil Donahue show [the only daytime show I ever consistently watched so excited for this] on the OWN. He will, I assume, have one guest per episode and go into depth on relative social/political issues. Adam would be the perfect draw for a show like this as it would pull in a varied audience for both him and for Adam. What do you all think? We can be pro-active about promoting Adam if we use our collective wisdom and for some of you, connections??? |

I just love the photo of Adam on a bike in Montreal.. in flip flops yet! He just seems to be such a "Seize the day" person. Me too! I love how carefree he seems in that photo. Now I have visions of Adam riding around Montreal, ringing his bell (because what bike is complete without a bell???) and singing that bicycle race song by Queen. I want to ride my biCYCLE I want to ride my biiiiiiiiiiiike I want to ride my biCYCLE I want to ride it where I liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiike |

I assume VampGirlPrague came from Prague to Montreal for Adam's concert? Awesome that! As sexy and gorgeous as he is on stage I just adore these informal out & about pics! Just shows how truly beautiful he is even without all the accoutrements. This one & the bicycle pic. Love!   |
