I thought we were going to travel straight up his nose for a second!! LOL. I really love the song, love, love love. Travelling home today and I have tomorrow off. I love the way he brings his shoulders up when he sings the first "I don't think we will" on OoL. The body language takes us in, and makes the song even more tender. It's a small gesture but powerful. Yeah SATISFIED I've noticed that too...I can't stop watching him singing OoL, seeing all his singing nuances..he just has this "way", can't describe it other than its the way he combines his body language with expressions on his face with the way he sings the melody --> just mesmerizes us all!   |

The song is stuck into my head. I wake up with it, I go to bed and it's there. Very rare for me.
The last time a song was stuck into my head was when I first searching for YT vids after his audition and saw Dust in the Wind from Upright Cabaret. It was exactly the same situation. For many months I couldn't escape from this song and his voice. All day.
And now I see one YT from Quebec and then I go and watch OOoL again and again and again.
I can't explain it. I'm just stating the fact.

oh sorry, to continue... ...also the part when he clinches his left hand in a fist & holds it close to his chest (or perhaps his heart) just gets to me. Can't tell u guys how for the last 2 days I've been replaying the OoL video and it has made me cry everytime! Finally on this third day, I've been able to watch it w/out crying. Why is that? Why does this song get me so emotional? It is truly heart-wrenching -- just can't explain it. I loved Aftermath & Broken Open when I first heard them & did replay them when they first came out but I was not "emotional" over them. The comments on youtube are so similar to what I'm experiencing! So many are bawling & crying over this song! We know it makes us cry so we should stop watching but we can't. We continue to replay it over & over and cry some more!  Just so weird & puzzling how some of us have reacted to this one song! Can you imagine if the masses of people hear it for the first time? Altho me thinks they won't react like us because they are just not as invested in him as we are. Its been said often too and at first I do not understand why fans say this, but they comment on how they think they cannot love him anymore than they already do. But this song (also knowing just a teeny tiny bit more about his relationship with Sauli) makes me love him so much more! Ok pls scroll along as I've gotten too long here. Just been lurking lately but boy! OoL just suckered-punch me out of the blue! :-[ |

Great posts Cassie and CraazyforAdam. Listening to the OOL vid Q3 posted above one more time before going to sleep. It is so beautiful, and I just keep loving it more and more! I have to listen again and can't seem to get enough. I adore him. ETA: I keep thinking of Eber saying this is one of five he really liked. Four more that he already puts in this category? I can't wait for what is ahead! I ditto what you've said. I love this ballard. His voice is surreal. SInce I didn't go to the ball, I caught up on vid yesterday. SO today at work, I'm sneaking and listening. WHEN CAN WE PRE-ORDER HIS CD? I'm so ready. On another note: I watched the 1st episode of Project Runway. There is an designer who utilized "peek a boo' design in his garments. SInce Adam liked the blouse from the museum, I wonder if this future designer will take into account this fact. Should be interesting. THe only problem if indeed PR is in the future (hint) they don't annouce who the next celebrity judge will be for the next round. How will we know? ?????? HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO AMW (i've gto to learn how to post pics) damn lastly, I was window shopping at the Apple store, my lap top died. Has anyone looked into or purchased the new MacBook Air???????? |
