I don't know that reading about a singer having a new single out, or hearing him say it in an interview, would actually prompt anyone to actively search for the single and buy it or even just have a listen to it. I think what prompts people to buy/stream a song is if they hear it (perferably more than once) and like it. So the best promotion for a song would be to either perform it on TV or play it on the radio. Now TV performances are probably out of the question because of the tour, but who knows about radio - maybe Adam's already got radio interviews arranged in the cities they'll be in, and the radio stations agreed to play his new single before or after those interviews. Another possibility is TV, not a performance, but the song being played as a theme song for some show. That's a very good way to get it heard.

 Has anyone shazamed it yet? I took the app off my phone. Just pronounce it two fox and you will be fine. If true, the title should stir stuff up and WBR did retweet, so they are down with it. |
