I like the new song, but I think a bit out of place. It need to be a little Rock-ier to be played in a QAL concert. The way Brian and Roger did with Ghost Town. JMHO

Best recording yet. That little "ohh" after "in leather" is adorable.

I feel like he has a greater chance at big success when he puts out a song that he loves and is true and honest to himself rather than try to fit the radio formula that boxes him in.

To me this song says that Adam is finally in a place where he will do what HE wants. He has spent years trying to please everyone else and now it's his time. He earned this right and I love him for it. Anthem and ode to Freddie. That's what I was thinking. He is pleasing himself and that is a good thing. I think Adam himself has made clear he's done with the whole chasing radio hits. I'm just saying this song isn't it even if that was the plan. As for the bolded statement I disagree. Fans have always portrayed Adam as HBIC of his own career so I find it puzzling now to imply that Adam was really a puppet trying to please everyone else. I think all of Adam's albums have been 100% him.

It doesn't sound like a radio single to me either, yet. I don't think radio would accept it on it's own terms. But. Play it at enough QAL concerts in the USA, where it fits in perfectly with Go big, Go brash, Go for it and either get on board or go home, we don't give two fux, well then this has more of a chance to go viral. It's got a much better chance than Welcome to the Show which had zero. As far as promo, the chair photo is too recent for this to be planned as part of an album release. It was probably written, stashed, and then maybe brought out for Westboro. One thing is for sure. It will become an internet meem. Huh? It was written with Sarah and the NZ cowboy producer. Very recent. IDG what his photo shoot has to do with your album release reasoning? Album will be in early Fall most likely.
