It IS a song. And Adam and Alisan have both tweeted about it. Adam said there is no song called War Paint on the labum. Then Alisan went on a rant about the guy. He doesn't seem to be one of their most favorite people right now. All of that was on the board a few weeks ago. That song was not War Paint ..it was Mind Control ! Pretty sure Jestermusic is legit Yes! I just went to Alisan's twitter page and found out I had the wrong person! Oops! Embarrassed. "my bad!" :-[ |

Kanadie, thanks for your very informative post and I think I contributed to confusion by using a technical term as a layman's term. From general music-discussion blogs, it seems "mastering" has become a catchall phrase to those not privy to the technical side of things for "final recording and production."
Figuring that during writing sessions, they created demos (easily more than 20, according to Adam's May AI interview), I wouldn't imagine these are optimum quality, but indicative of what the song is.
From what I've always gathered, those will then go to A&R person and label and they will choose the 12/13 CD tracks, plus a few bonus tracks, then those would be re-recorded under optimal quality production. I was referring to that "final production" recording phase as mastering, whereas the actual term mastering apparently has a much more specific definition.
Whatever you call it, my guess is that they are no longer writing, but they are "laying down the tracks" (tm Idolatry, lol) for the final CD?

So you're one of the people who don't believe when someone says that they're straight or gay? Niko and Sauli both said clearly after Big Brother that they are just friends and that Niko is straight. But I guess you think that Adam was lying as well when he said that Tommy (and Kris) are straight. Are you putting words in my mouth about Adam/Kris/Tommy? When you try to prove a point it is good to stick to the facts. The guy may be engaged, married, whatever, but the video clearly shows that there was "more than a bromance" - which is the statement I made. Full moon tonight?? Europeans for the most part aren't puritanical,like here in the U.S.Showing affection seems to be natural IMHO, If one wants to believe that two men sharing a bed on a TV reality show must mean anything more than sharing a bed.. then be my guest. |

what's going on here?? I think I liked August 2nd much better than August 3rd so far. j/s Give it time, Aug 3rd is just beginning and it seems to be gathering momentum. After all, we talked at one time about how we could help Adam promote # 2. Maybe that harem video would garner some publicity. The only problem is that "harem" implies there is someone there collecting us for sinister or questionable purposes. Who would that be? It sure isn't going to be Adam, unless Sauli, Tommy, and Kris were all beards so he can date Keisha. I can hear the groans and "Oh no's" from Greece to Kansas City. |

I think he may be the same person that did a cover of CLYG on youtube...but may be way off on that...memory is getting a little feeble in its old age...  |

They do? Good news! I thought is was the same level as the alternative use of the code which was a gift membership. I haven't used mine yet as I was told it extended the membership one year from the date you did the extension instead of tagging on a year to your previous end date. If there is anyone that doesn't have a fan club membership and would like a free one from my code, please let me know. I had two M&G's and one code is extra. My codes did not want to work so I had to go through Ground Control to use them. They both extended my membership from it's expiration date- I lost nothing. That is my original membership expired on 9/1/11 so my first M&G extended that through 9/1/12 and the second put it up to 9/1/13. How do I contact ground control? |
