Was not successful. I quoted on the previous page betty and then I was able to quote so that I can see the line. But it was the last time. (testing: :D   )

(testing: :D ) hmmm.... butterfly, I'm using the "default" skin setting in my profile. Is that what you're using? When the forum format changed, I remember some peeps were saying they couldn't see any line at all between the quote and the reply box. Have you experimented a bit with changing your whole background colors? |

 seoulmate, Yes, I have a default selected.
I noticed when I visited my profile page, that there were other new options! I was wondering why my genre is no longer visible -fixed it, and I finally got my birthday up  .
I got the page a little more clear, when I removed all the signatures (I'm sorry, my dear friends (zzz)), but the site is still very faint. One more questio: are pages now only half the width of the former? Can I get it to fill the screen?

One thing that I'm finding VERY VERY FRUSTRATING is the whole quoting someone else thing, which used to be SO EASY in the old format. Like, I just quoted butterfly's post, and after several attempts I managed to delete just the photo and leave the several lines of text that she wrote. But after I hit "post", it turns out EVERYTHING had been deleted from butterfly's post... the photo and her text and everything. THIS DRIVES ME CRAZY!!!!!
 How are things going in this land of Adam as I test test test the QUOTE area. Why does it not let me highlight a word in the middle of a sentence in case I want to bold or delete or change the font or correct a typo/ The cursor jumps and we changed the batteries in our key pad...so that was definitely not the problem. Guess I just have to live with the new changes and not worry about getting creative with any posts. The cursor still jumps from where I place it in the text to the bottom of any post. and it then types out what I am tryping at the end of the post instead of where I want the addition /change to be. I can only highlight from the end of the whole document..nothing in the middle of the document. , (ie I wanted to put a comma after post and correct my period in the middle of line four...but the comma ends up at the end of the document, as can be seen.) |
