Going to apologize now for posting in the regular sections before practicing here! Is there a way to delete a post? Any other tips would be both welcome and appreciated!! To the right side of your post there is a Settings cog/wheel symbol with a down arrow. You can always edit an old post of your own but you can only delete your post if it is the last post in the thread. If somebody else has posted, even if they didn't quote you, you will not be able to delete your post. I delete posts all the time even from previous days, even months, using the cog/arrow dropdown. Are you telling me there is an alternate universe thread where all the posts that I have deleted because I was afraid my children would read them after I'm dead, still exist.

Maybe I just haven't paid attention in recent years but I swear at one time I couldn't delete old posts of mine. Oh well, then I guess the answer to the question is yes you can edit or delete.

I was able to go back and delete a post ... don't think I've ever been that excited about deleting!

A note on this. If you click bottom left "Post Quick Reply" then that's one and done. If you get part way through and all of a sudden you want to do more stuff like bold or add a link or picture you can click on the "Reply" button upper right. It won't erase what you've done it will just open the regular posting window with all the bells and whistles available along with what you've already written. Also if you are at the top of a regular page there is a Reply button to the right of the thread name and that will take you to the full posting window also.

Try again:
Huh. I'm going to assume that there's an issue posting a video someone uploaded live to facebook.
Thanks, practice thread!
