I'm going to bed in a while. Tomorrow vacay begin! Going to London for 8 days. This is the longest I must have stayed out of the fandom. I don't know how on earth am I going to survive. I will have my laptop but I probably won't have much time. So I won't be flailing with you on Sunday. Thanks to Atoppers and Q3 I will not be worried of missing a single tweet, info, pic everything that is out there in the world about Adam. And after London I will have two more weeks of vacay so all's good. :D We will miss you gelly :(.. but hope you have a great vacation!!! ;D ;D

michcoll Michelle Collins SNEAK PEEK: Taken From “Behind The Music: Adam Lambert” is.gd/y71zUN30 minutes ago This Sunday, August 7, at 10 p.m. ET/PT, Adam Lambert’s world is going to be upside-down. Or, at the very least, turned to a 45 degree angle and zoomed in upon. That’s because Lambert has now officially reached the upper echelon’s of pop culture stardom, as he is starring in his very own VH1′s Behind The Music. The VH1 Blog has done us a great service, giving us a glimpse at one of the most interesting aspect’s of any Behind The Music… Adam’s childhood. (more, with both preview clips) ETA: Haha, mariep and susie!! I guess I should quit spamming.

i don't agree with the Ed comment and we know Adam is tired with the "openly gay" words before his name whether it's a gay website or not. I'm more inclined to consider the source and the context.

i don't agree with the Ed comment and we know Adam is tired with the "openly gay" words before his name whether it's a gay website or not. It is a difference in purpose though. When an LGBT site uses the label it is positive because they need to know who is out and open and who is not. It IS important BECAUSE they NEED visible open artists. When a mainstream press outlet uses it most often (but not always) it is used to marginalize. There is a definite difference and Adam HAS talked about how important his visibility is and you have to remember that there are always going to be new people discovering him who may not yet know that he is out and open. It is important NOT to slam the LGBT media for using that qualifier specifically because they need the visibility.

In the same way San Diego will always claim him as a son and AI will always claim him as an alumnus, the gay community will always claim him as one of their own, as they should. He is. It's one thing if general press says it (it's totally unnecessary, unless the story was about gay rights or gay progress/struggle in the music industry) but if my college was writing a story on me, I would expect them to reference me as a 19XX graduate of the XXX school of XXX. Believe me, if he would have stayed and graduated from Cal State Fullerton, it would be mentioned in every article about him that runs in Orange County.

Cassie, I know everyone has moved on but I have a question about Adams chest. If he had not started singing when he was young but had played sports and lifted wieghts, do you think he would have developed a barrel chest and be able to sing as well as he does? Yeah, it's kinda the chicken vs. the egg question, isn't it? I haven't studied enough about singers' anatomy to have the answer. But, I think that skeletal body types are mostly genetic. They can be influenced by disease or hormone imbalance, but I don't think they can be by certain practices or exercises. So, I think that barrel chest is just something Adam was born with, just as the head/sinus/skull resonance is. However, developing the strong muscles to control the breathing is definitely by choice, not chance. That's my best guess. Thanks cassie for your answer.
