Well, I'm only on page 1 of today's thread and already between Animated's cool pic and Kanadie's info on BennyB (?) I'm reminded of how freakin' much I miss being on top of things here!  But I have to ask a favor--I'm typing my recap and I can't find a little 6-page thread I saw SOMETIME in the past week that included 4m's detailed list of Ste.Agathe info and Wal's(?) list of Talc vids with the informative tag lines...anyone know where that thread disappeared to? I could not get on plane to return home last night (flying standby) and am going ahead with recap now--ONE-WEEK ANNIVERSARY OF ADAMSTORM IN CANADA!! Can anyone help me find that little thread or tell me where to go to find a p.1 list of videos? I checked out beginning of 7/29 25-pager and 69-pager and didn't see what I found the other day. Good God, that's too long a response for me to deal with, Carly, but I think I got the gist of it and let me summarize my earlier points in a different way as best I can:
1. I and my colleagues at RCA know what we're doing when it comes to building successful artist careers and and you do not.
2. I and my colleagues at RCA know how the business of music and consumer behavior is evolving better than you do.
3. I and my colleagues at RCA know what the COMPLETE artist fan base wants based on real data and you only think you do, based on tidbits of nonsense you pick up while surfing hysterical twitter accounts, blogs and whatnot.
4. I and my colleagues at RCA actually work with Adam and know/do what he wants while you do not.
5. The information we provide, events we endorse, and actions we take all reflect Adam's wishes and vision, and if you don't like that, you don't like what Adam wants.
So while I am happy to answer legitimate questions and reveal business practices and trends that don't involve confidential information about Adam's career, or elements that, while rumored to high heaven, are simply not confirmed fact yet, you'll have to forgive me for not tolerating petty sarcasm from someone who seriously has no clue. This isn't FOX News, where "some people are saying" flies as fact; I and my RCA colleagues actually know what everyone is saying vs. what the self-appointed know-it-alls think is being said.
You don't have to read my posts here or believe anything I say, but if you do read them and care to contribute to the conversation instead of starting arguments like this one, then please keep the facts listed above in mind. That's all. If you ask a dumb question with a know-it-all tone and I have a moment to spare for an answer, you'll get a fittingly condescending response. I'm sure those business-focused questions will start flowing again (or rather, I'll have answers to provide again) once the new album comes into sight, so I just wanted to clarify our stance about answering them while we were on this subject.
Thanks for reading. I know a lot of peeps have no tolerance for Ed, but I kinda love him. I have a real soft spot for people who say what they think, even if they are a bit blunt. ITA. Ed says what needs to be said. He is nobody's doormat. I like Ed. 8-) |

Well, don't get too excited...you know it's gonna be a longass personal perspective, but I WILL highlight the pertinent concert part to make scrolling easier! ;D I will say in advance that I could no more choose a favorite concert than I could choose a favorite child (even if I do only have 1 kid!) I think back to 2010 Summer of LOVE and I really did love them all for different reasons. HOWEVER, I will say that between his fabulosity and the elements, it WAS kind of a "perfect storm." But damnit, he always leaves you wanting more!!!!! OOL was so wonderful--I KNEW he'd do something different, thrilled that it was something NEW!! I'm going to be IMPATIENTLY awaiting CD and Tour #2! |

Hmmm, I don't think that looks like Elisse. There is definitely a resemblance, hair color for one, but the shape face, chin, smile look different to me. But mind you, I know nothing. If someone knows it is her, then I guess it is her!  Here is a pic looks alot like her.  |

ooh I LOVE the green shirt. I always thought everyone hated it. I really wish Adam would wear more color. *sigh* Black is fine but I actually like him in brown, blue or white better. (I know he really values my opinion so I'm sure he's gonna get right on that!) I've always loved it too! Mostly, cuz he usually has an aversion to buttoning it too much |

Not sure about general views on the green shirt, but I've LOVED it ever since I saw him wearing it in that cute "I want flames coming out of my fucking head" Zodiac video!
