Also it amuses me that the article is about Adam's business and management dealings and they select a pic of him naked making a peace sign, lol. Mindfuck.

First of all -- I really doubt Adam will say much about why he choose DMG -- and if he says anything it will be carefully worded.
CKX (19 Entertainment's parent company) has been acquired and is being taken private. The new owners are exiting the management business. So Adam was destined to leave 19 Management (AKA 19M) at some point.
They have done a spectacular job for Katy Perry and we know Adam and Katy are friends -- so that may have been part of the decision.
But the choice of management firm has a lot to do with a personal relationship with a manager. Adam has chosen wisely so far, I think he almost certainly selected a firm and manager he is very comfortable with.
ETA: Regarding Roger and Lane -- I would love to see Lane stay with Adam and that easily could happen. Roger never impressed me that much -- he seemed to do an adequate job for Adam but nothing stunning.

This is interesting news! Do you think DMG people are already working with him? Is this what is behind opportunities like PR, BTM and Mentors and Minors?

"WOW! So i'm guess that rumor that Adam was leaving 19E was true, wow!"
Adam did not leave 19E -- just 19 Management. He still has the current album and 3 more to do for 19 and 19 Merchandising still controls his merchandise.
But 19 will not be involved with his appearances OR his tour. And this is a great thing!!

Q3- Is this the big deal it sounds like it is?
It is important but it is good for Adam. 19 Management is being disbanded so everyone will be leaving eventually. I am glad he will not be with Simon Fuller's new company. That is where Roger went.
Just curious, why was Roger not a good fit? I remember seeing both he and Lane with Adam frequently, but, actually know nothing about either of them. Just a curiosity question. Thank you for the feedback.
