This was posted in yesterday's thread, unfortunately these numbers date back to 2010. The numbers are much higher since then. Did you guys notice the sales info RCA posted before his "educational" post? (incidentally, I happen to agree with every word he said there..) Check this out..it will give you a bit more idea how significant a tweet by a writer/producer like Benny Blanco is in this current contemporary hit radio top 40 game. This could be the one that helps put Adam where he deserves to be! He knows his "smashes"! Another interview from when he was probably about 19 and still doing remixes for artists. Says he wishes he was Prince! Thanks for posting this great rundown of Benny Blanco. I generally do not get that excited about collaborations -- because major label pop albums are filled with them. And it is easy to focus on the big hits -- but big name collaborations do not always mean that a song will even be good. But even when this collaboration was just a rumor/fan-hope, I was excited about the potential of Adam+Benny Blanco++++ Something really feels right about this one. And with all the tweets from the studio about this one -- it better be good!! |

Those are the numbers thru July 31, 2011. What is interesting to me is that Glam Nation Live keeps selling. The last number I saw was 33K -- so nice leap. The DVD only needs to hit 50K to be certified gold. |

Popping in.
I was talking to my girlfriend this morning and she is a hugh country fan and listens to the local country station. The DJ was talking. now I'm going to paraphrase:
Remember American Idol and Adam Lambert as well as Danny Gokey. I don't know who won? who won that season? well he continues to mention that Adam has released a new single for his upcoming album. OOL They PLAYED IT!!!!!! Station 92.5 which is a country station. I'll be damn!
ALso Q102 played WWFM last night which hasn't been played for ages. THings are picking up. I'm so ready
